Chapter 103 Force Out

Thank goodness! Thank goodness!

Ranita feared those addictive substances whose consequences were unimaginable...

"Thank you Dr. Pearson!" She breathed out in relief while expressing gratitude towards him, "And thank you again for coming last night."

"Don't mention it!" He paused briefly before asking intelligently, "Did something happen at Boulderland Mansion? Do you need my help?"

Ranita rubbed her belly and shook her head. "Thank you, Dr. Pearson! I've made up my mind, I might leave Kurima in a while."

Leave Kurima?! Steve was taken aback for a moment but quickly realized that after last night's welcome party, everyone in the elite circle should know about Brendon and Shannon's situation.

If Ranita stayed in Kurima, it could lead to more trouble! Besides, she had a baby in her belly.

"Where are you planning to go?"

"I'm probably going to Greece. I'm interested in their culture and history and plan on visiting there to gain some knowledge." Ranita had earned enough money over the years plus she had child support payments coming so she could live comfortably without working for several decades.

But even though she said it was just for fun, Ranita actually planned on studying Greek while there.

"But it'll probably take some time. I still have some time left at Stuart's Corp plus other preparations so the earliest would be three months from now."

Later on when things calmed down slightly, her professor called, "Ranita, since your studio is no longer functioning, why not consider working at the Department of Translation and Interpretation? We're short-staffed!"

Actually, saying that there was a shortage of people was not accurate. The translation department belonged to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and there were plenty of translators who wanted to join, but their standards were high and they required a lot of ability, so they always lacked manpower.

People like Ranita, who were good-looking and capable, were the most sought after!

"Professor..." Ranita didn't expect the professor to be so persistent. He brought up this matter every time they talked and she didn't know how to refuse anymore.

"Hahaha! Don't worry about it! I just mentioned it. I didn't really think you would go! Everyone has their own aspirations. If you don't want to go then forget about it!" After pausing for a moment, the professor continued, "If you don't want to work at the translation department, you can come back to school. Our school is recruiting in autumn and with your abilities why not become a teacher? The salary is good and it's also relaxing."
