The Deadly Assassin Robin (Tristan Storm) novel Chapter 1242

Robin's plane touched down in Brighton.

Outside, rows of royal fleet stood at attention.

"Master Ramsey," a voice broke the stillness. "Lord Southmere and others are already waiting for you at the command center."

As Robin stepped off the plane, a message from the Dark Web flashed across his screen.

The majority of the 3,000 assassins had been deployed to Snow Valley, awaiting his next move.

A few lingered around Landorne University, shadowing Joanna.

In Draconia, a handful of assassins kept tabs on Shirley and the others.

Draconia had very strict surveillance on the World of Darkness' organizations, especially foreign ones.

The Dark Web's killers would lay low unless they had their orders.

Their orders were clear: stay hidden, gather intel, and report when called upon.

The news from Harmonfield hit like a hammer to Robin's chest.

Catherine, Elliott, and the others were trapped in the Westeria Residence office.

Shirley, Vera, and the rest were scattered in hidden cells.

And Rita ... Rita was dead, killed by Vladimir, Zayn's ruthless enforcer.

Rage exploded inside Robin, his body vibrating with a killer's fury. "Animals!" His voice was a low growl, the word dripping with contempt.

"Master Ramsey?"

Jethro's voice shook as he noticed the sudden shift in Robin's demeanor. Something had gone terribly wrong.

Robin's voice was icy. "Mr. Quintana, I'm not going to the command center. I have no ties to Draconia's military anymore, and I'm not on the same level as your so-called elites.

"I'm just a common man, not someone who belongs in your meetings about the fate of nations."

Jethro was at a loss. He sensed the storm building inside Robin, but he didn't understand why.

Robin's gaze darkened, his jaw tight. "I'm going to Harmonfield.

"Tell Mr. McKay that I will not spare Zayn again. Not this time.

"Until Zayn is dead, my rage will not be quenched."

Without another word, Robin activated his Dragon's Gold Armor token.

The sky above Brighton darkened, and snow began to fall in thick, swirling flakes.

The ground trembled as the Golden Dragon Guards roared into action, their armor-clad soldiers marching with a thunderous force.

"Mr. Ramsey, I have arrived with my forces, ready for your orders," Misael's voice called out, its urgency cutting through the cold air.

Jethro stood frozen, his heart pounding. "Master Ramsey, please, what's happening?"

Robin's gaze was like ice. His eyebrow arched, sharp and unforgiving. "Catherine, Maverick, Elliott, and Brendon tried to avenge me, but Zayn and his men have them locked up in the Westeria Residence office in Harmonfield.

"My fiancΓ©e, Shirley, was abused by the people of Harmonfield, and no one cared. Now, she's locked away by Zayn in some secret place.

"Rita is dead. Killed by Zayn's men.

"Even if I kill every last one of Zayn's underlings at the Westeria Residence today, it won't quell this rage inside me.

"Misael, get to the Westeria Residence in Harmonfield.

"Anyone who tries to stop us will fall by our hands."

Jethro stood still, his mind reeling. He watched as the Golden Dragon jets shot into the sky, streaking toward Harmonfield. His stomach dropped.

"This is bad.

"Get to the command center. I need to see Lord Southmere, now."

Jethro's convoy tore through the city, the streets a blur.

Snow continued to fall, thick and endless, coating the ancient city in a heavy silence.

But under that quiet, something violent was stirring.

Thirty minutes later, Jethro's convoy screeched into the compound of Draconia's highest command center.

He flung open the car door, bypassing the usual security.

He stormed past the guards, heading straight for the meeting hall.

Two soldiers scrambled to keep up with his furious pace.
