The Deadly Alpha novel Chapter 33

The morning made my eyelids slightly dry and opening, I grunted onto the Alpha's chest as he rubbed my back and satiated.

"Wake up, sleeping beauty." His morning voice croaked. I rubbed my eyes sleepily as my body was too lazy to move. "Come on, the guards made your favorite, Nutella with strawberry pancakes." With that, I woke up and rushed to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth so I could ravish in my guilty pleasure.

I heard him chuckle as he played with hyper Kaden, it was barely eleven am and I was knackered from last night, with not enough sleep, I sighed as I came out when I got done with my bathroom duties and tied my hair up since it was always on my face.

"We need to get him to the doctor in the afternoon." Alpha looked worriedly at my statement, I adored how he was so caring about our baby. His chest was on display with new black jeans and messy hair along with a little stubble.

"Don't worry, babe, it's for the symbol thing," I explained and he raised his eyebrows amused as he crossed his muscled arms.

"Babe?" He sniggered, "it's the first time you call me that and I like it."

Yeah, I can show you few things that you like. Lace flirted and I internally cringed at her remarks, she was satisfied because we spent yesterday running to release her energy.

"Yeah, yeah-" I dismissed it and squealed after when he threw me over his shoulder with baby Kaden in the other arm.

"I'm strong enough to carry you both." He nonchalantly said when he saw my frantic look over Kaden.

"Let me go." I yelled while giggling as blood rushed to my head, he dropped me when he came in the dining hall. Feeling very hungry, I turned around to find heaven.

Nutella pancakes, hash browns, bacon strips along eggs, cottage cheese rolls and coco puffs were aligned on the table so I ran to fill my plate with the heavenly pancakes. Alpha laughed as he carried Kaden in one arm since he was a tiny baby.

My mate joined me as we both ate with Kaden carried by a guard beside me since I wasn't trusting them very much for they could easily be killed upstairs or maybe, I was deeply paranoid and didn't want my son to be in harm's way.

"Who do you think broke in our bedroom?" I remembered well and clear; the puddles of blood, the guards dead, mates crying over their loved ones. It was purely a nightmare in my eyes, guards cleaned up and told us that they were tracking this.

"It was clearly Alpha Sean's doing," Alpha said venomously, he literally hated that man. His eyebrows furrowed with darker hurricane eyes.

He was my favorite hurricane eyes no matter how the shade looked.

"But how? He was with you at the ball." I analyzed and the Alpha sharply said, "then, his guards." I thought about it, I saw people accompanying him.

"Doctor, if the symbol changes color then what does it mean?" I asked him after we had breakfast and the time passed while we made love and showered, Alpha went to his duties and I went to mine, first, as a mother.

"Black is for powerfully protected, it takes the form of an alarm. Yellow means peacefully protected, glows in his sleep. Red means weakly protected which can cause major trouble because the symbol has a limit and white means serenity when he's usually happy." The doctor implied, pointing at the white symbol on my son's forehead.

I nodded, taking in that information and informing the Alpha through mind link since last time, he got mad and made me promise to never do that to him again, he hated being left out.

"Thank you, doctor." He returned my smile as I went outside and was met by a small girl.

"Luna, I want to be a warrior like you." She said, giving me a lilac flower, my favorite.

"Thank you-" I said with a huge smile on my face, little things like that made me feel appreciated and loved.

"Melissa." She cheerfully introduced herself.
