The Breaking Point of Love novel Chapter 862

Trevor walked over to Philip amid the quiet murmuring around them.

"Mr. Lancaster."

Beck and Miles greeted Philip as well.

Philip acknowledged them, shot Trevor a sidelong glance, then looked toward Celeste's side of the hall.

"You don't know a gem when you see one. Do you really don't feel even the slightest regret?"

Trevor didn't look towards Celeste. Instead, he changed the subject. "I thought you'd be more interested in the project I discussed with you last time."

Philip fell silent. He was, in fact, interested in the project.

Since Trevor clearly had no intention of discussing his relationship with Celeste, Philip couldn't be bothered to pry. After all, the romantic entanglements of young people had little to do with him. He simply found it frustrating and regrettable that someone as outstanding as Celeste had failed to catch Trevor's eye.

So, he dropped the subject of Celeste and Trevor and began discussing the project with him instead.

Beck and Miles couldn't contribute much to their conversation, so after greeting Philip, they moved away.

Miles glanced toward Celeste.

Remembering how Trevor had seemed reluctant to discuss her just moments earlier, he hesitated before saying, "Celeste really is outstanding in every respect. If she truly wasn't the one who drugged Trevor back then, she'd actually be a pretty good match for him."

A far better match than Wynn.

Miles had never thought much of the Shaw family's character. As for Wynn, now that he knew more about her background, he couldn't help wondering whether she had deliberately engineered her initial encounter with Trevor.

Unfortunately, Trevor was simply too attached to Wynn.
