The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 83

I looked around the dock and saw human Travis standing behind me. Travis's pack was emerging from the woods that bordered the dock parking lot in their wolf forms.

"Krystal... it's me. Come here. You're bleeding, let him go." I could hear the pleading in his husky voice.

I responded with one last menacing growl towards Dom, but decided to listen. The pain in my side started becoming worse, and ibwasnt sure how much linger my body could keep fighting. So I lept off of Dom's chest and trotted over to Travis's side.

Dom started coughing up blood onto the floor of the boat, but as I turned back to look at him I could see him struggling to get up.

I reached Travis' side and he quickly changed to his wolf and enveloped me in his warmth. He pushed his snout against my neck and breathed deeply, letting out a sigh.

"I thought I lost you. I couldn't reach you through the mind link. I was so worried... Wait here with my Gamma Brett, and the rest of the pack. I'm going to end this fight. You did a good job." He told me through our reconnected mind link.

I turned to see a dark brown wolf who started walking towards me.

"What are you going to do?" I asked.

"End him. He took this too far. He needs to be stopped. He's killed too many people and he almost killed you. He can't be allowed to roam free." He answered back.

I nodded once, knowing he was right, this was our only option.

"Come Luna, let's get you fixed up. Your bleeding, the pack doctor needs to check you out." The wolf Brett told me.

"No. I'm not leaving Travis. I'll wait." I replied.

"You don't need to see this Luna. It won't be pretty."

"Stop calling me that. My name is Krystal. And I'm staying right here." I said and ended with a growl, and a snap of my jaw.

"Luna?" Brett walked closer to me. "You don't have to watch." He directed at my thoughts as he stood in front of me. "He was always a monster... deep down, and I think you knew it. He would never have done those things to you and all those other women if he wasn't a psychopath. This is just karma's sick was of giving him what he deserves."

I still couldn't wrap my head around what was happening.

But I knew I had to watch. This was going to be my life now. Dealing with the violence that would come from being in a wolf pack.

Dom was my responsibility, so I couldn't turn back on what was to become of him.

"No Brett, I have to watch. This is my life now." I responded back to the dark brown wolf beside me.

"Kryyystttallll!!!" Dom screamed, looking over towards me. I lifted my head. Travis had turned back to his human form. He was completly naked, Dom's disfigured body conveniently blocked the lower half of him from view.

Travis loomed over Dom, his hand around his neck. "Don't you dare acknowledge her, not after what you put her through. You are nothing. Complete scum. A tragic mistake. And a cold blooded killer. You are finished." He snarled close to Dom's face.
