The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 78

He walked closer to me and sat at my feet and waited for about 5 seconds before he decided not to wait any longer and grabbed my pants by his teeth and somehow he managed to swing me over him, and onto his back.

That shocked me. He stood perfectly still for a few moments letting me get settled on his back. His fur was warm and soft, and all I wanted to do was nestle my head closer to his. So I did.

He smelt like the woods. Cold and wet and sweet. I inhaled another huge gulp of his scent, committing it to memory. It was one of the most amazingly comforting smells I'd ever experienced.

And as soon as I stopped wiggling around, he took off like a bat out of hell and went straight into the woods.

Well, my plan failed. If I were to try and get away now I'd probably break a limb jumping off onto the ground. And then where would I go? Hobble my way back to Dom's with a broken leg? I didn't know where Travis was going or where those tunnels led to.

I decided to plea, that was the only way I could saftey get him to take to where Travis was headed.

I needed to help save Krystal.

"Please, please!!!" I cried. "I need to save my best friend... You don't understand, we do everything together! We tell eachother everything! I don't know what ill doe with myself if she ends up hurt... or worse... please!!!" I pleaded while gripping his fur tightly.

This caused a growl to erupt from his chest. My body trembled with the power and force of it.

He seemed to change his direction from straight ahead, to veering towards the right. I really hope my begging helped.

"Are you following Travis? I know you can understand me. And I know you would do everything in your power to get Travis back safely if he were in danger. Please!! I need to get Krystal back."

He started to run faster and faster. Soon enough we emerged from the woods and hit pavement, and I realized where we were going.

We were headed towards the docks...

I ran out my back door and into the woods.

I was going to take my father's and grandfather's advice.

I was going to fight my wolf. And beat the cold.

I knew it wasn't going to be easy. And I knew it would take some severe training.

As I started outside it took only about 10 seconds for the cold temperature to kick in and have my wolf fighting his way to the top, to steal my body and take over.

This was no way going to help me win Krystal's heart, and catch and kill the jackass who was murdering people around town.

I saw my grandfather and dad come out the back door. They came towards the woods and knelt in front of me.

"Fight. Tell your body to change back." My father told me.

"Think of her. Think of her skin on yours, her lips kissing yours, think of the fire from her touch heating you up." That was my grandpa.

I did. I fought against my wolf self, and I thought of Krystal.

I thought of her light green eyes, and how gold flecks shone through the pigments. I thought of how good it would feel to have her hand in mine. The electricity of her touch lighting up my skin with tiny sparks of fire. I thought of how it would feel to kiss her. I thought I would most likely die from that sensation. My thoughts overwhelmed and overloaded my senses. It was incredible, something that was hard for me to put into words.

I could feel her delicate, tiny body in my arms, wrapped up in my limbs and I held on to her, kissing her and exploring her body. It felt real. I felt like I was actually with her. Kissing her, touching her, loving her.

The sensation of the change started nudging into my senses, making me pause my daydreams of Krystal.

It started in my feet, and warmed my entire soul up to my head. I could feel my paws turn into hands and feet, I could feel the bones breaking and reshaping into my human limbs. I could feel my fur receding, and being replaced by skin. I felt my fingers, toes and nose pop into place, and my body lengthen to its 6'4" stature.
