The remainder of the period swept by quickly.
I walked in a daze through the next few periods.
When lunch rolled around I was nervously anticipating having to see Dom again.
But he was no where to be found in the lunch room.
My heart finally started to beat at a normal rhythm again when I realized he was no where in sight.
I found Belle and Mia already sitting with Dom's crowd of friends which included Callum and Tohm, as well as those girls who simply had to be stuck up rude bitches.
"Who said wolf girl could sit with us?" Stefanie sneered.
"Yeah, she's probably behind all these murders. She probably helped the animals pick their victims or something creepy..." Kacey said with a laugh.
I narrowed my eyes at her and was about to get up and sit by myself at the other end of the cafeteria when Dom came striding over to the table.
He was walking, or shall I say gliding, faster than any human I've ever seen.
"No one asked for your close-minded, rude, petty, offensive and ignorant comments and opinions." He snarled at the cliquey girls sitting at the other end of the lunch table. "Keep your mouths glued the fuck shut when your sitting at our table. Especially if you're going to mouth off on Krystal." He slammed his fists down on the table causing their lunch trays to jump up and then collide back down into into a mess around them. "Honestly, no one at this table even likes you. You're just just a bunch of skunks hoping to score with me and my friends. But too bad for you we've found way better girls to associate with and fawn over. Ya'll are last week's news. Get up, and get out. None of us want you here." He finished with a smirk as he flicked Tracy Spring's mashed potatoes with with a long slender finger, successfully hitting all three of them.
They each scoffed and got up to go sit at another table across the room.
At this point my eyebrows were knit together and my eyes were wide with shock. I really couldn't believe he actually said all those things and kicked them off the lunch table.
Dom Larson... sticking up for little 'ol me.
Should I be flattered?
No. It made me tremble with fear, honestly.
Dom took a seat next to me with a laugh.
"Sorry about those stupid bitches. They need to get a freaking life and leave you alone." He said as he scooted closer to me.
"It's okay, I'm used to it. I endured it for almost 10 years from you. Nothing my self esteem can't handle at this point." I replied meanly.
"I'm sorry Krystal, I'm gonna spend the rest of my damn life trying to make it up to you... I promise." He whispered in my ear, with hot sticky breath.
I gulped. I felt sick being this close to him but I had to pretend everything was alright.
I ate the rest of my lunch in silence.
As soon as the bell rang I tried to hurry off to my next class.
"Hey Krys! Wait up!" Dome yelled as he grabbed my wrist before I could make a beeline for the hallway.
"And Krys, stay out of the woods." Belle said with a sad smile.
"I will if you will." I answered back as I got in to my Jeep.
I had just gotten off the phone with Belle when I decided to get in my pajamas and meet Travis for another night of ours.
Okay Krystal... now that we know Travis is a man... a sexy man, we need to really pay more attention to what we wear to bed.
We can't be wearing long Johns and baggy sweatshirts anymore...
Okay...
Yoga pants.
Perfect.
What guy doesn't like a girl in yoga pants?
Let's hope Travis is no exception and that my body looks good enough in em.
Okay... Yoga pants and... an Abercrombie sweatshirt that I borrowed and never gave back to Mia? That was honestly too tight on me?
