The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 51

"Wow. I can't wait to meet him!" Belle said.

"Well don't get our hopes up, I told you I'm saying away from boys. And plus he left in the middle of the night without saying a word. I figured he got cold and had to turn back into a wolf, but would knows Belle... It's not like we're even the same species."

"So... You mean to tell me that for 10 years you and him sat our in the frigid cold every damn night to just watch each other because you were curious? Not because of some deeper level of connection? You mean to tell me he saved you countless times from stupid shit for no reason? No. That's bull, and you know it. He feels the same way about you, wolf or man, or both. It's obvious."

Belle finished with a toss of her blonde curls, which meant the argument was over and she won. That's just how it was with Belle. She would be a world class lawyer someday because of it. She could outsmart, out-argue, out anything of anyone.

I sighed. She had had a point I guess. It wouldn't make sense for Travis to have been by my side all these years if he didn't feel something for me.

Why would he save me when I'd fallen years ago? Or at the club? Or at Callum'sparty?

I don't think he would have done that for just anyone.

No one would do that for just anyone.

"I don't know Belle, your probably right. But only time will tell. I've only seen him as a wolf lately anyways."

We headed to class and finished out the day without anything interesting happening.

when I got to my locker as the last bell rang I could see Dom waiting for me.

I rolled my eyes.

Here we go.

"So, 5? At Java Jones?" He asked.

"Yup." I replied as I walked towards the front doors to the parking lot.

Belle was to my left, and Dom to my right when I spotted him.

HIM.

In human form.

Travis was here, waiting right next to my old beat up Jeep.

Shock, may have been the right word.

Air was completly forced out of my lungs as I looked at Travis standing beside my car.

His feautures fell into a frown. "I'm sorry. I'll explain everything, but please give me your keys so I can drive away, and get us away from him." He seethe out him with more venom than I knew his deep beautiful voice could muster.

"Him? You mean Dom?" Travis started growling and snarling at the mention of his name.

My eyes widened in shock at the sound, but my heart beat kicked up a few notches and my body got warm tingles all over, and not from being frightened.

"I have to pick up my brother." I said as I handed him my keys.

"Fine." He replied before peeling out of the parking lot as fast as my old Jeep could manage.

We pulled up to Trenton Middle School and my brother Charlie came running to the car.

When he saw me in the passenger seat he gave me a weird look, but opened up the back door and got in.

"Who's the dude?" Charlie asked while holding onto the headrest in front of him and looking over my shoulder, eyeing back and forth between Travis and I. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Char, this is Travis. Travis, this is my little brother Charlie." I smiled back at my brother.

"Why's he driving? Did you break your foot or something? We know you're accident prone." Charlie said with a laugh.
