Can you figure out how this story ends?
No?
Well Jamie's mate was a human, and she didn't know what the hell he was talking about when he told her everything about werewolves and how she would become one every winter, only to return to her human form in the summer.
She didn't take it well. She told him something along the line of never ever wanting to be a murderous beast. And that she hated him and was scared and never wanted to see him again.
She ran away.
That night Jaime came home and it was like he snapped. He was a mad man.
There was no consoling him.
About a week into his agony and misery, the weekly newspaper came, and the front cover showed a picture of a pretty woman, one of the towns most beloved English teachers, who had killed herself because of "depression."
When Jamie saw that cover, that was the end for him.
Mates can not live without eachother.
They aren't supposed to.
Even though his mate was human and scared, she couldn't live without him, so she ended her pain.
That night Jamie's screams came to an end.
My father and his beta found him hanging from one of the pipes on the ceiling of the basement, clutching the front page newspaper article with the picture of his his mate.

But I refuse to end up like that, I will win her heart, and I will have my mate.
She will be the Luna of the Moon River Pack.
I couldn't live without her.
Our souls were destined to be together. And I would die trying to accomplish just that.
I didn't care that she was a human, it just made her more special to me, more fragile and delicate.
And all the more beautiful.
I focused back to Krystal.
She was watching me, and smiling.
I loved seeing her smile.
She gestured for me to come over with her hand.
I padded over to where she was sitting against a tree.
She pointd down to the notebook she was scribbling in.
It was a picture of a black wolf staring back at me through the paper.
He had peircing blue eyes and a clam look on his muzzle.
He was sitting in front of a lake staring ahead, just like I was.
I looked over to the spot I had just been sitting and then back to Krystal.
She nodded her head,"Yeah, thats you." She said with a smile.
I looked back at the paper, it did look like the wolf people described me as.
You never get to see yourself as a wolf, there aren't any mirrors in the woods.
I could feel my body tense up, preparing for a fight.
Krystal came to the door dressed in skinny ripped jeans and combat boots, and a black V neck sweater with sequins, and she was holding her leather jacket.
She looked so good I almost forgot who was standing in front of her until he handed her something. A box of chocolates.
Ugh what a little príck.
I could do better than that.
She smiled and accepted them.
"You know you can't just bribe my forgiveness with flowers and things." She said with a smile.
What...the... fucq...
I let out a rather loud growl.
She looked out into the woods and stared right at me.
Her eyes opened wide in shock. She looked utterly surprised and maybe even scared.
Then she lowered her head to look at the ground.
Dom's head shot up when he heard the growl.
His eyes widened in shock, like he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Is that the same wolf, the one from the other night?" He asked with fear laced in his voice.
"Yeah." Kystal said as she got in the car.
Dumbass scrambled around to the drivers side and took off flying out of her driveway.
