The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 34

I mean he got me roses, and was at my doorstep basically begging on his knees.

And it's not like I had any other guys groveling for my attention.

Well...

No.

Travis wasn't here.

He probably never would be.

He was a wolf.

And I had only met him once.

It's not like we were together... right?

Alright, it's settled then.

I'll give Dom a chance.

"Okay. I'll give you another chance. But don't fúck it up. Or I will beat the shit outta you." I finally said.

His head shot up from staring at his shoes to look right at me.

He grabbed my hand and looked me right in the eyes.

"Oh I wouldn't doubt it for a second!" He exclaimed. "I'll pick you up at 6. I promise to never dissapoint you again." He said as he kissed my hand.

The kiss felt warm and unfamiliar.

I wasn't sure if I liked him molesting my hand with his lips.

I had no idea where those things have been!!

Ugh.

He turned and left to walk out my front door and I was left standing in my foyer staring at my hand that he just slobbered on.

He smiled and turned away to walk to his car. I then wiped the back of my hand on my leggings to get his kiss off me.

It felt wrong being there.

When only last night fire touched my skin, igniting it with something strange and foreign and amazing.

But it was something so breathtakingly out of this world that having Dom's hand and kiss where sparks had been laid by Travis, only a matter of hours before felt strange and offensive in its place.

What was wrong with me?

The "hottest" guy in town came to my doorstep with roses and I wiped his kiss off my hand AND I almost turned him down.

Okay get it together Krystal. You need to act human.

You can get through this.

He's a real boy who's actually interested in you.

You have to at least try.

Even if he's a dįck.

I kept repeating this mantra over and over in my head.

You have to try.

He's cute.

He got you roses.

He basically begged.

I was still in disbelief as I walked back into my kitchen to eat my now cold breakfast.

I had a small appetite as it was so it wasn't unsusal that I couldn't finish.

I dreaded the thought of Travis having a girlfriend or wife or wolf girl something....

Well...

I had to push those thoughts away.

I needed to distract myself.

I went to my room to grab my camera and sketch book so I could take a walk in the woods and take some photos and draw before I went on this "date."

I saw her emerge from her back door.

She had grey cargo pants on and black boots with her camouflage hunting jacket on.

Looking at her as a wolf was different than when I got to look at her last night as a man.

She felt so far away, and out of reach when I was was a wolf.

But last night... last night she was right in front of me.

I was able to touch her, and hold her.

It was the most amazing feeling in the world.

Sparks danced on my skin as our fingers touched.

Fire licked at my core when I held her close as she fell asleep.

Better than just watching her from the forest floor....

I shook my head back to reality and looked at Krystal again.

It's funny, humans think that wearing camouflage makes them nearly invisible to animals but it's quite the opposite.
