Well that was strange.
Well great.
Now I had Dom Larson trying to woo me or something.
Just great...
I decided since it was 11 am I should get up and get dressed and eat.
It was a typical freezing winter morning so I put on a pair of thick black leggings and a chunky purple sweater and headed downstairs to have some breakfast.
I decided to make eggs and bacon for my family and sipped some hot coffee while they were cooking on the stove.
I heard gravel crunching outside, signaling someone was driving up our driveway, and just as I was about to put food on the table, the doorbell rang.
What the...?
Who could that be?
I don't think my mom was expecting anyone.
I sure wasn't.
I put the food down and was about to sit as I heard my mom call from the front of the house.
"Hunny, you have a visitor!"
Huh.
"Who is it?" I called back.
I couldn't hear a response so I just walked through the house to see who was at the door.
"Oh, it's a cute boy here to visit you!" My mom chirped as she passed me to go into the kitchen.
I just gave her a strange look and walked to the front door.
And none other than...
Dom Larson.
WWWHHHAAAAATTT
THE
HECK!?!?!?
Why did this shit always happen to me?
I was planning on never calling this idiot back and never ever seeing him again, and avoiding him like the plague if I had to.
But now that he was inside my house that would be kinda hard.
"Hi Krystal." He said shyly, while looking down at his feet and holding his hands behind his back.
This is when I noticed the bandage in his other hand.
He had white gauze wrapped around his wrist and hand. The gauze was slightly blood stained, showing that Travis really did mess him up.
Well, that was no one's fault but his own.
"These reminded me of you." He said shyly. "Beautiful, but dangerous."
"I don't think I'm the dangerous one Dom." I replied, but accepted them anyway.
"Thank you." I said.
"Okay... so I know roses don't make up for anything but if you'll let me try, please let me try to make it up to you. Come bowling with me and Callum and Mia tonight. Were gonna get some pizza and watch how shitty Callum is at bowling." He said with a light laugh.
"But I really want you to come. That's the important part. I just... really want you to see I'm not out to just screw you and leave you. I want to try to get to know you... and well... be... with you... and I've never done that... so... I uhh don't even know where to start, but I really hope you'll consider giving me a chance." He said sadly. He was looking down at the ground again.
Dom looked so sad.
And I hate to admit it, but also cute.
And he seemed like he was being sincere.
And he definitely wasn't drunk.
But...
Should I just go?
