The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 21

It was beautiful. As much as I hated winter sometimes, I had to admit there was beauty in the stark white of the surrounding tundra.

The woods behind my house were deep and eventually led to the woods behind her house.

I felt the wolf inside me surfacing, grappling his way to the top, trying to get out.

He was yelling at me to let go, give in to my him; my other half.

I let the shakes consume me and take over my body.

I started running for the trees.

My body shifted mid sprint and I lurched foward and into the woods as my dark black wolf.

I roamed the woods until I got to her house. It was already dark and the moon was high in the sky.

I saw her come out her side door and get into her car without so much as a glance toward me or the woods.

I followed her silently to her friends house, where they quickly came back out and left again.

Where were they going?

I swear if it's another dirty club my blood will boil.

I followed them to another mansion set in the middle of town.

I could hear the music thumping and the ground vibrating from all that bass.

Ugh. This didn't even sound like music, how could these people listen to this.

The door swungn open to a drunk looking Callum Goldberg.

Ughh. *mental face palm* That guy?

He was like the popular kid you couldn't hate beacuse he was so damn nice... To everyone!

But I could never tell if it was real or fake.

I'll probably never find out.

Two summers ago when I was 18, he must have been 16.

That's how old Krystal would have been.

He worked at the local grocery store.

Normally the Alpha of a pack wouldn't be the one to go shopping, but I volunteered because I liked the time it gave me to myself to think.

Everytime I'd go to check out he'd be working the registers.

He always greeted me and everyone else with the biggest smile and asked how my day was going.

Most cashiers just grumbled a hello and that was that.

But no.

This kid Callum asked me how I was, if I had anything fun planned for the week. What I did for a living, was I gonna go to the county fair? Because it was supposed to be a blast and I'd probably love it.

"Huh? I don't know what you mean?" He said.

"Well Dom, I've known you my whole life and you've always been mean to me. Why did it take you being drunk to want to approach me? And why does it take alcohol for you to talk to me like I'm a normal human being, and for you to apologize for acting like an ass?" She said angrily.

"Geez Krystal, you don't have to get all pissed off at me!" He snapped.

I moved a little closer and was now able to see her narrowing her eyes and scowl at Dom Larson under the light of the moon.

Grrrrr.... I hate that punk. I started growling now.

This asshole was known to go through and discard girls like garbage.

Every week he'd have a new one. I wanted to rip his throat out for just talking to my mate.

This is when I saw him lean in to kiss my mate! I was just about to leap out of the woods and tackle him when...*crack*

My girl punched him right in the nose!

HA!

She was so badass.

I chuckled to myself at how spunky my mate is.

"Ahhhhh!!! Fūck!!!!!!! Owww!!!! Dàmnit Krystal." He was screaming. Ha, she must have hit him hard.

Dom was holding his face, and even from where I hid in the trees I could smell his blood.

"Your an idiot Dom. Why would you think I actually wanted to get with you!? You freaking deserved that." She told him.
