The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 17

His features were soft and fit him perfectly. He was any normal girls dream guy.

There was no denying his beauty.

But I wasn't normal.

We walked through the house and back into the kitchen. We went out the back door that led to the patio outside.

The night was cold and unforgving.

The sky was clear and filled with bright stars and a half full moon.

So bright and large in the sky, I could feel it's pull, calling my name.

I never undrstood the connection I felt with the moon, or the night. I just felt like the night was where I belonged.

Dom took a sip of what smealt amd looked like a thick, rich whiskey.

I took a moment to really look a him, now that we were away from the strobe lights, it was easier to get a good look at him illuminated by the brightness of the moon.

I realized how little I really knew about this boy who I had known since grade school. How little we had in common.

"Look, Krystal, I'm really sorry about the way I acted last week at the club." He said as he ruffled his hair with his fingers.

What? Was he serious?

"Umm okay. Thanks?" I replied.

He looked at me funny and said, "I was drunk, and well, I've always thought you were cute and you looked so pretty, I just wanted to dance with you."

"Oh. Okay..." I didn't know what to say to him.

This just felt weird. Since when did he think I was pretty? And if he thought that why was he always mean to me?

"So why do you have to be drinking or drunk to want to talk to me?" I asked.

"Huh? I don't know what you mean?" He said.

"Well Dom, I've known you my whole life and you've always been mean to me. Why did it take you being drunk to want to approach me? And why does it take alcohol for you to talk to me like I'm a normal human being, and for you to apologize for acting like an ass?" I said angrily.

"Geez Krystal, you don't have to get all pissed off at me!" He snapped

I narrowed my eyes at him and pushed my lips into a shown scowl.

But before I could get away he grabbed onto my arm and yanked me back.

He pulled me close to his body griping my arm and waist tightly.

"You're not going anywhere until I get what I want. And if I knew apologizing was going to get me this, I wouldn't have bothered. But I deserve somehing from you, and I'm going to get it." He was seething with hostility. His warm liquor flavored breath felt sticky and discusting as he leaned in closer to me.

Oh god. This is it. I'm going to get raped by my least favorite person and all because I had to punch his nose. And no one was going to save me because they were all drunk inside.

All of a sudden there was a deep growl coming from the darkened backyard.

I knew that growl.

It was branded to my brain.

It happened so quick I almost missed it.

He jumped onto the deck and grabbed Dom's arm between his jaw.

He clenched down and shook violently.

I could tell my wolf wasn't using all of his force but he was doing some damage, because Dom was screaming like a little girl.
