The Blue-eyed Wolf In The Woods novel Chapter 16

At least this time I had more of a say in what I wanted to wear, which was a pair of black skinny jeans, my long grey leather boots, and a tight black and silver v-neck sweater, that hung a little low on my chest.

The girls were dressed to kill like always and when we finished putting ourselvves together, we hopped in Belle's car and headed to the party.

We arrived at Callum's house, wait no, more like manison. He was rich, uber rich, like Belle.

"Hello my beautiful guests!" Callum slurred out while answering the door.

I rolled my eyes at him.

He'd never say that to any if us, especially me if he were sober.

Actually I'm still not sure why he invited us.

He must have realized my hesitation, or seen my eye roll, because he looked at me and said, "Oh, come on Krystal! Why do you hate me so? All I want to do is be friends!"

"Callum, you've never wanted to be friends with us. Why the sudden interest?" I asked.

I looked over to see his arm slung around Mia's neck with a dopey smile plastered onto his face.

Ahhh, so thats why.

Me and Belle looked at eachother and tried to stifle a laugh.

"Ahh... nevermind, I've figured it all out." I replied.

The two of us decided to grab some drinks and maybe hit the dance floor, while we left Mia and Callum to do whatever Mia and Callum wanted to do...

This place was huge. His kitchen coud fit a small army.

The tabletops were marble and there was a huge bar built into one corner of the kitchen, bar stools and all.

We walked over and realized he even had a bartender!? Like did he hire this guy for the party?

I got a beer and Belle got some frozen fruity concoction.

We headed over into the living room, which was converted into a huge dance floor with a dj playing loud thumping music along with strobe lights, making it hard to see.

Belle and I started to sip our drinks and sway to the music.

I reaized everybody we went to school with was here.

LITERALLY EVERYBODY.

Trenton was a small town, and everybody knew everbody and their business.

That's why I was never too cool. I lived in a poorer section of town, where the properties were bigger, but the houses small and outdated.

I didn't really want to talk to him, because there was nothing for us to talk about. But I had no good excuse to turn him down. Deep down, I couldn't find a reason why me, as an 18 year old, nerdy un-cool virgin should not talk to a super sexy jàckass.

I mean, no other guy was making any effort, and I had the best looking guy in town trying to talk to me. So drunk me thought maybe giving him a listen couldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Dom may be known as a world class player, but God, why did he have to be so hot?

I mean I was never interested in him before because of his discusting personality, but I don't know, maybe he was growing up?

Doubtful, but I may as well hear him out.

All these thoughts raced through my mind in a matter of 30 seconds.

I just nodded my head in aggreement.

I let him lead me out of the dance room, as I shot a "what am I supposed to do?" Look in Belle's direction.

She shrugged and then grabbed the nearest guy to dance with. I giggled.

Dom looked down at me and smiled.

He was at least 6 feet tall, and had light sandy brown eyes, that were only a little darker than his hair.

He was slender, but not skinny. He was captin of our schools Basketball team, so he had an athletic build.
