Nicole couldn't help but stare at Gabriel, why was he doing this? She wondered. Could it be that he was impotent or something? Yeah, that could be reason enough for a guy his age to still remain single or wait, maybe he was gay and didn't want anyone finding out about it but he doesn't really look gay. Why was she even thinking too much about it? Anyone can choose to remain a bachelor at his age. It's a free world after all, but with all the money he has, he can't be alone all his life or could it be that all the women that had come into his life were just after his money? If that were the case, he wouldn't be offering her 25million dollars for an act of just six months

'Okay Nicole, you need to stop assuming things inside your head. Concentrate on what is before you' she internally warned herself.

Gabriel on the other hand was busy with his laptop transferring half the 25million dollars like he had promised to Nicole's bank account. Nicole felt her phone vibrate and saw that it was a new message, she opened the message and was surprised to see that her account has been credited with 12.5million dollars, she couldn't believe it, and he was actually telling her the truth when he said he was going to transfer half the amount once the contract was signed

"Here, this is your engagement ring" Gabriel said handing Nicole a small black box

Nicole opened it and saw a beautiful diamond ring which was probably worth hundreds of thousands. She was still staring at the expensive ring when she noticed it was being removed from the box

"If you'll allow me" he said taking Nicole's hand and gently putting the ring on her finger. This was only a contract yet he was still being a gentleman

"Please don't blow this off" Gabriel whispered in Nicole's ear before walking out of his study leaving her there alone and overwhelmed.

Few minutes later, a maid walked into the study

"Ma'am I'm really sorry to disturb you but master ordered me to show you to your room. That is if you don't mind" the maid said bringing Nicole down to earth

"Oh, okay" she replied before standing up from the sofa

"This way please" the maid said leading the way with Nicole following closely behind her

Walking through the hallway, Nicole couldn't help but stare at her surrounding in amazement, whomever it was that designed the interiors of this house must be really talented, she thought to herself. The maid suddenly stopped in front of a creamed color door, she opened the door for Nicole revealing a beautifully decorated turquoise, silver and cream colored bedroom

Nicole decided to take a tour around the mansion rather than just sit in her bedroom doing nothing. She sent for the house administrator and asked him to give her a tour around the house. While touring the mansion, Nicole tried taking notes of the different rooms behind each door, she really hoped that one day she doesn't get lost because the mansion had too many rooms.

When they were done with the tour, Nicole realized that she hasn't been shown Gabriel's room

"What room is Gabriel's?" She asked

"It's the room right across yours ma'am"

"Okay, thanks for the tour"

"It's my pleasure ma'am" he replied. Nicole dismissed him, she contemplated for a while before finally deciding to go pay Gabriel a surprise visit.
