James frowned and hurled the wine glass at Wynton.
With a clang, Wynton shattered the glass using his Waltraud Power.
Wynton then teased, “You’re angry now. This isn’t how the new Supreme Path should act. James, don’t disappoint me.”
“When you said that, you lost all my respect,” James replied coldly. “Now that we’ve shared wine and chatted, the formalities are over. It’s time for us to fight to the death.”
“Why the rush?” Wynton laughed. “There are many divine beings you care about here. Aren’t you afraid they’ll be killed if we start fighting?”
“Is this the so-called humanity, loyalty, and emotions?”
James turned and glared at Wynton with murderous intent.
Wynton was despicable and shameless, fully understanding human nature.
“James, I advise you to stay calm.” With a smile, Wynton said, “I have a fair solution for both of us.”
James stayed silent but did not object.
“Let’s make a bet!” Wynton proposed, looking at James. “If I lose, you can take all the past forms of the living beings with you. Then, we’ll fight to the death.”
James raised an eyebrow. “Continue.”
“If you lose, you need to give me what I want most.” Greed flickered in Wynton’s eyes.
James was irritated. “Be frank!”
“I want the Yin governor!” Wynton declared, staring at James.
Focused once more, James stared at Wynton. “So what if you prove yourself to them?”
“You’re trying to trick me.” Wynton laughed, pointing at James. “You call me cunning, but you’re no different.”
“Don’t worry. If you defeat me, you’ll find out what you want to know. But it all depends on whether you have the capability.”
Wynton was alert, sensitive, and doubtful. It was no wonder he was the embodiment of prelife.
With that in mind, James asked again, “How do we bet?”
Wynton smiled and waved his hand. A beam of rich Waltraud Power shot into the void, instantly gathering countless shrunk universes to form a Yin-Yang Wuia Pattern.
Using this as the foundation, countless intricate and interlaced amethyst-gold rays shuttled through it, quickly forming an Xwem Chessboard.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
