The ‘handsome man’ hiding behind the light orb flinched, appearing nervous.
‘Did he catch on already? He was clearly calling me by that name! Is this disguise tool from the Waitara Path’s soul spirit actually useless?’ the ‘man’ pondered.
Meanwhile, James conjured a shiny cauldron before him, with a bright blue flame burning fiercely inside.
He produced a pestle and held it over the fire in different positions. “Should I roast it horizontally, vertically, or slightly slanted?
“We usually use charcoal fire to roast fish. I wonder if the meat would get burnt if I used the Flames of Samadhi instead.
“Oh, it should be fine! Itʼs a divine and extraordinary fish, after all. It’s big and meaty. I might even have to use up a few bottles of Chaos Absinthe to make sure itʼs properly roasted.”
Yehria’s face turned red with anger. ‘That crazy bastard! Instead of thinking about how to deal with the Waitara Pathʼs soul spirit and secure the rights to govern the Haleth Realm, heʼs trying to decide how to roast me instead! I wonʼt let him off for this!’ Yehria raged inwardly.
As her anger boiled over, Yehria stormed out of her hiding place.
“Youʼre big and meaty! Your whole family is big and meaty! James Caden, you crazy bastard! Youʼre an absolute… Huh?”
Yehriaʼs outburst came to an abrupt halt as she saw that James was really holding a fish in his hand. It was a big, live koi fish flapping wildly against Jamesʼ grip.
James lifted his head and gasped in mock surprise. “Oh my! You really came out yourself? Youʼre being so cooperative.”
Yehria clenched her teeth. “Why you…”
She understood everything now. Even though James knew it was her, he did not actually know where Yehria was hiding. He was just trying to provoke her by acting as though he was planning to roast fish. Yet, Yehria fell for his trick and exposed herself on impulse.
“Let’s try roasting some fish now!” James’ laughter echoed through the air.
As soon as James said that, blazing fire and blue Galeat Winds filled the space within the square of light where Yehria was.
“Aargh!” Yehria screamed hysterically, flailing helplessly as her body was engulfed in flames.
Yehria’s original form was a koi fish. With her Water Element nature, she could suppress Fire Element attacks. Unfortunately, the fire surrounding her at the moment was produced by Hemera.
Yehria was no match for Hemera in her current state.
Just then, James appeared above one of the walls of light trapping Yehria.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Almighty Dragon General
"Good things take time" Lol yeah, a hundred and fifty trillion years, apparently....
How was Sheldon Jame's first disciple? Wasn't the Black Eagle King the first? Where has he disappeared to all this time?...
Unbelievable... I thought James was rid of the annoying "honey, darling" Thea by going to the Demonic Realm, but now she's gone there too *puke*...
This Thea is the most narcissistic woman of all, constantly interrupting James's cultivation, getting in the way of his plans and slowing him down. He was well rid of her but the author went bonkers a few hundred chapters into the story and decided to pair her back with James.. Yuck!...
Thea doesn't deserve James, it so sad he loves her...
Thank you so much for all the effort. I love all the stories I've read. I hope to continue reading "The Almighty Dragon General" story. 😊...
