"No way, babies are so adorable! Chubby, fair, and loved by everyone. If you take him out for a walk, he definitely turns heads," Anya said, missing the little tiger cub.
Leo Cedillo replied, "Only the troublemakers turn heads. A kid like sweetie needs to pack on a few more pounds before he can handle a beating."
At Maplewood Estates, Andre Cedillo walked downstairs with his dead phone in hand. He looked at his wife, who was doing some puzzles in the living room. "Mia, where the hell is Henry?"
Calling him by his full name meant trouble.
Mia Irwin had a row of fruit lined up in front of her. She glanced around. "Huh? He was just here running around like a maniac. Where did he hide?"
Andre stood in the living room, his predatory gaze sweeping the area. "Henry, get your ass out here right now!"
No one knew what Henry had done, but that night, he was forced to stand in the corner as punishment. The next day, Andre's phone was sent to the repair shop.
Later, Andre set a password on his phone.
Who would have thought that it wouldn't be long before his own son cracked it again...
After Alyna resigned, a lot of her work fell onto Chunky's shoulders. Chunky stared at the piles of text and data. "Leo, I have no idea how to do any of this."
"If you don't know, learn. You've got plenty of free time now. Consult Alyna when you can. Oh, and don't forget to pay the company's social security every month, plus the reimbursement receipts. You need to learn it all."
Chunky ran his hands through his hair in frustration, while Leo stood behind him, stifling a laugh.
He watched the team working on the system, taking the time to personally guide them.
Horizon Technologies didn't give up and eventually called Alyna again, only to find out she had already quit. "Alyna, Horizon Technologies would be an excellent platform for you."
Alyna rejected them once more, annoyed to the point of blocking Horizon's number entirely. She then called Chunky to pass on a message. "Tell Leo to watch out for other employees leaving the company."
Over the next three days, Leo noticed that the leader of Team One was getting restless. He was constantly stepping out of the office to take calls.
He and Chunky exchanged a knowing look. It made sense. Horizon wouldn't bother poaching entry-level employees; they would aim for the team leaders.
