Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance novel Chapter 1631

Leo glanced at his phone, firing off a text. “The kids are missing again at home.”

“Want some help?” someone offered.

Leo just kept typing. “No need. Their dad’s a police chief.”

Just then, Grandpa Dragon and Grandma Dragon showed up at the spot Leo had shared.

Molly hopped out of the car and immediately spotted the little buggy she’d bought. “Chad, look! That’s the car I got for Grandma and Grandpa!”

She’d actually wanted to get one for her own dad too, just to let him have some fun. But Hansen had gone off, practically snorting with outrage. “I’m not old! Who are you calling old? A senior scooter? I don’t need that thing!”

Molly shot back, her wit razor-sharp. “Well, Dad, how do you plan on getting around when you do get old?”

Hansen, the proud CEO of Cedillo Inc., chased after her, huffing and puffing. “Getting around? Are you saying I’m old? Chad, did nobody in the Byrne family want this contraption so you brought it here just to mess with me?”

Chad just shrugged. “Dad, Molly was just being thoughtful.”

Hansen was as touchy about his age as he was about his hairline—everyone in the family knew not to bring up either.

So in the end, Molly only bought the buggy for Grandma and Grandpa Byrne. She’d checked every detail, so she remembered it well.

From the shed nearby, the sound of traditional opera floated out. The couple exchanged a look—that was definitely the place.

They stepped inside, surprised to find the place air-conditioned. Tickets were twenty yuan a head.

Chad paid, and Molly started to head in to find the family.

Chad gently pulled her back. He stood at the door, scanned the crowd, and mapped out a route in his mind. “Molly, follow me—this way.”

Way faster than Molly searching row by row.

When they reached the grandparents, Wayne was fast asleep in Grandpa Elmer’s arms. Henry, bothered by the noise, had nodded off too, little hands pressed to his cheeks as if blocking his ears.

In the distance, the harvesters were hard at work.

While waiting for the grandparents, Jade was busy snapping cute photos with her son.

Chad turned into Molly’s personal photographer, while Molly became her son’s paparazzi.

As the sky dimmed, the older folks started filtering out of the shed, chatting about what to have for dinner.

Grandma Aubree and Grandpa Elmer finally came out. “Molly, Chad, sweetie!”

Family photo session wrapped up, the three of them went over.

With the evening settling in, Chad let the grandparents’ buggy take the lead, following slowly behind.

Back home, Kendrick and Coleen were already waiting. “Mom, Dad, what took you so far out to listen to opera today? Come in and eat—dinner’s just ready!”
