When Shawn walked up to her and picked up the album, he smiled at the memory as well. That was the first time everyone realized he was made an Alpha. most of his pack members could not believe that he would be an Alpha at such a young age, but he has always proved himself to be capable of leading the Pack. Right from the first day, he would always Sit beside his father's side as he talked to the people, and he had dreamt of always being the one who the pack comes to when there is a problem and the one who protects the territory from attack against other Packs.

Lily can only imagine his mother telling him to smile toward the camera, Shawn was not Photogenic and hated the flashes of camera light passing flashing his eyes, however he turned out to be very handsome in all the pictures that his mother had taken of him because she was good with cameras more than his father, Patrick ever was.

Staring into space, the memories lingered in his mind and he had no other option than to let it flow through.

“ Mum, are you sure you are going to do great?”

“ It is just a drama day, Does it matter what role you play”

“ Yes, but I was going to play the Beta when the teacher picked me to be an Alpha”

“ What about my father? is he coming to watch me? has he caught those rogues?”

“ Honey, I am not sure that your father can sit in on this one but he promised to watch the video which is why I came with her a video camera to capture every moment that you are on that stage”

“ Mum!” he Frowns. “You know I hate lights and camera flashes on my face”

“ But you always turn out great in all of them and so I thought this might be better, I turned off the flash so you don't have to worry about that and just do your thing. Now come on, the rest of your pack is waiting for you to get on the stage”

“ Yes I did, I remember that day perfectly and how my mother was by my side, at first I thought it was embarrassing to find out that you are an alpha in front of everyone, but then I loved it a little too much for the attention everyone was given to me when they found that was something that I have never expected”

“I wasn't there on that day but then I was told all about it, and I can only smile Whenever I see this picture”

“ Put it away it's all over now, I don't want to walk down that road again or go back down memory anymore”

Lily nodded her head, she understood how he truly felt, it wasn't that he did not love his parents of course he loved them but he loved her as well and so he was battling with so much on his shoulders. On one hand, was the pack and his parents, and on the other hand was Hannah his mate, he had never been so confused in his life.

“Dinner will be ready shortly, would you like to eat alone or should I set the table for the both of you?”

“ I don't know if Hannah will want to eat with me, but you can go ahead and set the table for the both of us. I haven't seen her ever since that talk in the living room”

“Alright, I will do that”
