Chapter 889 Unpredictable
Terry seemed to be unsuspecting. With an apologetic look, he said, "It was my fault. I should have let the servants guide you. There are clean clothes in the castle. Guys, come with me."
They went back to the parlor. Terry clapped his hands before a bunch of maids pushed over a hanger. A variety of luxury goods were seen. Some clothes were limited editions, each piece costing a million dollars. The Smith family was indeed rich.
"These clothes are all new. Judy, you can select whichever you like. Take it for a gift from me; Terry said generously, smiling at Daryl.
He waved his hand before two maids came up with two boxes. Terry took the boxes and presented them to Lucia and August.
"These are for you guys."
They exchanged looks but did not take the boxes. Terry saw through their reluctance and stuffed the boxes into their hands before they could decline.
"I appreciate your talent. Take it as a reward for your service."
August and Lucia had to accept his gifts. Daryl randomly selected a set of clothes and went to the room to change. As soon as she came back, the clicks of high heels were heard coming from the distance. It was accompanied by a sweet voice.
"Hansen, that's what I like you about.’
Marlena impatiently waved her hand. The bodyguards, who were standing by, rushed over, grabbed Henson's arms, and dragged him outside.
Henson struggled, shouting, "Marlena, you can't do this to me!"
Marlena ignored him. Her attention was all on August.
"Joe, I didn't expect to see you here. If I knew, I would have dressed up."
She stomped her feet in chagrin. Lucia watched and found this woman unpredictable. She liked August but dated another man. She was unperturbed even when August bumped into the scene. She acted like it was her right to date different guys at the same time. The alleged stupid debutante of Arcwell was indeed insane.
