"Nah, I was just run down 'cause of all that stuff that happened. Look at these panda eyes! I haven't been getting any decent sleep, so Sebastian asked me to take a few days off at home. Grandpa, look, I just got my color back, and here I am, back to see you!"
Emmert couldn't be bothered with her nonsense anymore and asked, "Where's that little girl?"
"Emily?"
Emmert nodded.
"She's with her mom."
"Is Ashley better now?"
"She's out of the hospital, resting at home."
"When can she come back to the shooting?"
"Huh? Is it Emily's part yet?"
"No, but we are used to having you two girls around here. It's a bit odd without you. Now that you're back, it's about time the other one comes back too."
"Hahaha, so you miss us, grandpa! Why didn't you just say so? I'll call Gracie right away to bring Emily over."
"I didn't miss you! I just miss eating olives, and no one's making them for me!"
"Got it, got it; I'll make it for you tonight!"
Emmert smirked, "Humph, that's more like it!"
Seeing Sullivan again on set, Stephanie had mixed feelings.
Sebastian said that even if Sullivan was a pawn in this, he was no saint.
If this had anything to do with Sullivan, then Sullivan was connected to Rebecca.
Rebecca would love nothing more than to see Ashley and Emily dead, and Stephanie always ruined her schemes, leaving her fuming mad.
They were enemies. She suspected Rebecca would love to ruin her too.
Stephanie heard the sound, paused for a moment, but didn't think much of it, and went to the next dressing room to change.
Before they started shooting, Emmert explained the next scenes rather excitedly. When he finished, he slapped Sullivan's shoulder, laughing, "What do you think, Sullivan, confident about the shoot?"
Sullivan nearly jumped in pain, his face contorted.
Only then did Stephanie notice that something was off with Sullivan today.
Sullivan took a deep breath and calmly said, "I'm fine. You should ask Stephanie."
"Steph, are you confident?"
Stephanie shook her head honestly and said, "Not really, but a little, I guess. The wire rig, it seems a bit high this time."
"What, are you scared now?"
"Er, not exactly, grandpa; let me give it a try first."
