Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 641

Stephanie said in heartache, "Mom, don't you trust me either?"

On the other end of the phone, Marilyn was a bit stunned. "Those videos on the internet. Are they all fake?"

Stephanie took a deep breath. "Mom, if I tell you they're all fake, would you believe me? Would Silver Fox believe me?"

"Of course I believe you! But Seb, I just don't know, Steph, what we’re going to do! Who made those videos? And what the hell happened?"

"Mom. All I know is that someone's framing me. Emily's missing; the teachers are freaking out, but Emily's dad showed up and got her back."

"God, Is Emily okay?"

"She's fine now."

"And you?"

"I'm not sure. Mom, I might need some time before I can come home. I don't know if Silver Fox will believe me or if he'll help me. I'm so scared, mom. What if he believes those videos and doesn't want anything to do with me?"

"No way. Steph, stop crying, and don't be scared. Seb's not that kind of guy."

"But I'm scared. Mom, I didn't like Silver Fox that much before; I didn't care. But now I really like him. I'm so scared that he won't want me because of this. I'm scared."

"Sweetie, Seb's not that kind of guy."

But no matter how Marilyn comforted her, she was still scared.

Those videos were too convincing. Anyone who saw them would believe they were real.

And last night at the hotel, there were no witnesses.

"Okay, mom, you mustn't come to see me. My identity has been discovered; if yours is revealed too, it would be a disaster. Be careful when you go out, okay?"

"Don't worry, Steph, before Seb left, he already had someone protect me"

"Silver Fox sent someone to protect me too, but what happened last night was inside the hotel, and those people were only guarding outside."

"So, Seb is really concerned about us! But life is full of surprises. It's okay; everything will pass!"

After hanging up the phone, Stephanie sat on the bed, clutching her blanket, and crying in despair.

Until it got dark, Sebastian Ingram's phone was still turned off, completely unreachable.

So was Martin's.
