Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 623

Inside the villa.

After Putnam and Maddie left, Stephanie carefully checked Sebastian's body.

Once she was sure he had no injuries, she said with relief, "Good thing you're not hurt. Otherwise, it would have been your fault."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow and said, "I couldn't just back down."

"But you really pissed Putnam off. He's usually so cool-headed, and you managed to anger him to the point of wanting to hit someone. He's no match for you. If I were him, I'd be fuming."

Sebastian replied, "If he wasn't so lustful, wouldn't his true colours show after getting drunk?"

Stephanie opened her mouth but was speechless for a while.

After a while, she followed him back to the room, laughing, "You're even joking about this."

"I didn't say anything."

"You totally did!"

Everything he said was true.

They often teased each other in private. One would mock that the other was a 28-year-old man with no girlfriend. The other would tease that the former was a poor guy who had been betrayed to the point of having psychological shadow.

Their self-control wasn't innate but acquired. They were probably the people who understood each other the best in the world.

Putnam had fully understood his character, and he had fully understood Putnam's.

Even their jokes were within each other's tolerance.

So Sebastian knew very well that unless something unexpected happened, he had successfully helped Putnam get married.

After breakfast, they returned to Stephanie's home.

They had to start working the next day and needed to send Marilyn Bishop to the employee dormitory.

"My mom and I will visit often. I'll invite everyone over for dinner."

Everyone chatted happily for a while until one neighbour turned to Sebastian and said, "About the jobs you found for our kids."

Sebastian quickly replied, "I've got it all arranged. Everyone starts work tomorrow. He can go directly for an internship."

"Great, thank you so much!"

"You're welcome."

To him, it was just a simple task.

But the neighbours were overly enthusiastic, which made him a little uncomfortable.

They kept praising him.

By the time they finished lunch and sent Marilyn off, the trunk of Marilyn's car was full.
