Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 579

"Marilyn, you're a lifesaver! You're such a good person; you should live a long life!"

Marilyn replied helplessly, "Don't say that; it's making me blush."

"Marilyn, what are you doing for work now?"

"I'm working in the same company as Seb, he helped me get the job. I'm in finance."

Stephanie quickly interrupted, "She got promoted to the Director of Finance in no time, she's doing really great! She's making over a grand a month now! She's truly amazing, absolutely flawless!"

Everyone was surprised upon hearing this.

Marilyn responded awkwardly, "Steph, don't flatter me like that; it's embarrassing!"

"But you're really awesome!"

"Your life is getting better and better. When you were in the hospital, Steph met her boyfriend. Now your whole family is living the good life; it's wonderful!" An old man couldn't help but exclaim.

"Yes. we owe a lot to Seb, he took really good care of us. We wouldn't be where we are today without him! Seb, now that I've recovered, I can drink again. Here's to you, wishing you success and everlasting happiness with Steph."

Sebastian quickly raised his glass in response, "You've always been good to me too. I hope you stay healthy."

Despite being a family of three, they were quite enviable.

Everyone had a great time at the dinner.

A few people asked for help finding jobs, and Sebastian, without showing any impatience, recommended some suitable positions.

However, he didn't recommend positions in his own company but ones in other companies or branches that suited them.

This made the neighbors feel that Marilyn, after experiencing misfortune, had been blessed with good luck. Her good fortune was so abundant that it even spilled over onto them.

Everyone was very grateful to Marilyn.

Marilyn was also very happy; her own life had improved, and she had also helped her neighbors.

She just hoped that everyone's life could get better and better.

Taking advantage like this was really embarrassing.

Sebastian found this amusing. He lay flat on the bed, eyes closed, and said, "Don't suffocate yourself."

"I won't; can you stretch your legs?" Stephanie asked.

"The bed is two meters long. I'm not two meters tall."

"Well, your legs are so long."

"How long exactly?"

"Just really long." Stephanie, warm and cozy in the blanket, couldn't help but tease him.

Even though he didn't quite understand what she was implying, Sebastian instinctively felt it probably wasn't anything good.

Sebastian twitched his mouth and said, "Stephanie, if you keep talking nonsense, you'll have to go sleep with your mom!"
