Stephanie was completely clueless.
She was thinking, Sebastian even refused the money she provided for him. What should she do?
It seemed like this time she really pissed off the Silver Fox.
She swore she would never drink alcohol again!
Drunk Stephanie was a total disaster.
But there was nothing she could do; she had other things to do and she didn't have the time to think about these.
She quickly got herself together and hurried off with Gillian to visit the Palmer family.
But they still ended up being late.
Maddie was all dolled up like a little princess, standing at the door and welcoming the guests.
Seeing Gillian and Stephanie, both of whom usually didn't like wearing high heels, her annoyance immediately faded.
With a red face and a smile, she quickly rushed over in her heels.
"Gillian! Steph! You guys finally made it!"
"Maddie, happy birthday!"
"Here you go, a birthday present!"
"What a beautiful crystal necklace! I love it; thanks, Steph!"
"What about my gift?" Gillian raised an eyebrow.
"I also like your book, but I can't really concentrate on reading, but if it's from you, I'll try my best to finish it!"
"That's more like it."
"Ha, Who gives such ordinary gifts a crystal necklace and a book? This Palmer family's party—really anyone can join, huh?"
Suddenly, a woman's voice interrupted them from beside them.
"Don't pay any mind to them; I'll deal with them and then come back to you guys! Don't worry, in my eyes, you guys are the most important, trying to sow discord, as if we don't have a strong bond." Maddie whispered in Gillian's ear.
"We understand; go on! Steph and I are fine." Gillian was touched.
"Okay, I'll take you guys to my room for a bit of peace later!"
"Great." They couldn't ask for more.
This kind of luxury party was something Gillian had never attended before, and she wasn't quite used to it.
As for Stephanie, she didn't bother with these things at all; her mind was elsewhere the whole time.
Even when people mocked the low-grade birthday presents they gave Maddie, she couldn't be bothered to respond.
Instead, the gaze of Angelina Peck and others never left her.
Stephanie, who looked like a well-dressed doll with delicate skin and perfect body proportions.
