Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 492

Soon, the lamb was served.

There were over a dozen people, including the delivery folks and the staff helping with the roasting.

The scene was grand, like an outdoor party.

Everyone was eating, drinking, and joking around.

"Here, Maximus, this one's for you!"

Maximus drank up.

"Here, Maximus, I'm toasting you too!"

Maximus had another one.

After being toasted by over a dozen people, Maximus finally asked in confusion, "Why are you all toasting me? My part isn't over! I'm the second lead who survives until you all die!"

"Hahahaha! That's why we're plying you with drinks, you're alive, and we're dead; it's not fair!"

In the end, even Mr. Finnegan made a toast to him. Maximus was flattered and drank up.

"Mr. Finnegan, why are you toasting me too..."

"Because I want to get you drunk!"

"..."

"You were a young lad then; now you're an old geezer... But your habit of getting bold when you're drunk is still there! Keep it up, old man; I'm rooting for ya!"

While saying this, Mr. Finnegan even winked at him in a sleazy way.

On the other side, Gillian, Maddie, and Stephanie enthusiastically toasted Gracie.

It was as if they had some tacit understanding...

Even Ashley joined the fun, reminiscing about old times with Gracie and then toasting her.

Before long, Gracie's face turned red.

She looked like a young woman in her twenties.

"I knew it... Ms. Morris, are you going home tonight?"

Ashley laughed, "Of course... otherwise, I'd be alone in an empty house if I stayed at Gracie's; she might not come home."

Gracie glared at her, "What are you talking about!"

"Just joking... Gracie, don't be mad here; I toast you for bringing people to the set to celebrate the end of shooting for me!"

"That's what I should do."

Everyone was surprised and asked, "Isn’t Steph your artist? How did she become your boss?"

Gracie, a bit drunk at this point, blurted out the truth, "The company is actually owned by Steph's relatives... she's the boss, and I work for her."

Everyone was shocked by her words.

Stephanie, who seemed so friendly and humble, was a big boss.

"Here's to you, Ms. Stephanie! Cheers! If I've upset you these past few days, please don't take it to heart! I'm always like this when I'm shooting, probably won't change in this lifetime... but offset, I have a pretty good temper, right." Mr. Finnegan, emitting from the drink, seemed to have had quite a bit, but his tone was sincere.
