Spoiled by the Silver Fox novel Chapter 468

So, he was totally ignored throughout the entire trip. Worse was that an extra kid popped up in bed every night.

Emily was shy around strangers. She didn’t want to sleep with anyone except Stephanie.

Stephanie had no choice but to take her back to Silver Fox's room, and she slept in the middle, with Emily on the left. They added another blanket to cover both of them.

Silver Fox still had his own blanket.

Poor Silver Fox... even the ones who squeezed him at night were gone.

But, with one more person in bed, Stephanie was sleeping very close to him in the middle.

A slight move might lead to some physical contact through the blankets...

Stephanie was relieved that Emily could quickly adapt to the new environment and seemed comfortable sleeping beside her.

Did this mean that Emily had entirely accepted her?

She was the second person Emily could fully trust in her heart after her mother!

So, after Emily fell asleep, Stephanie bragged to Sebastian, "Silver Fox, look... Emily depends on me so much!"

"Hmm, feeling accomplished?"

"Absolutely! It makes the one being relied on feel great, like they're so powerful! Just like how Silver Fox is so mighty, that many people can depend on him..."

"Oh? Like who?"

"Like me, and my mom... and Martin... and my teacher, and Gracie and the others, they all rely on Silver Fox now, right?"

"What if, one day... I can’t bear it anymore?"

"Uh... I haven’t thought about that... but Silver Fox, that day won’t come, right?"

"Hmm... no." Because it won’t come for you either.

I can be your rock for a long time, probably for a lifetime... as long as you need me.

Suddenly, so many people needed to rely on him, a feeling he never had before.

He felt fulfilled... being relied on felt so good.

It gave him immense motivation for anything. He was no longer alone...

The following day, Emily woke up early.

Sebastian also happened to have finished his morning routine. He came out of the bathroom to see little Emily was awake but hadn't gotten up.

As he approached, Emily made a "shush" gesture and mouthed that her sister was still sleeping.

Sebastian felt his heart melting because of these two little girls.

A smile appeared on his lips, and he opened Emily's little suitcase, took out a set of clothes, and handed it to Emily,

then whispered, "Get dressed. I'll take you to clean up."
