Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 699

Nell smiled. “Thank you very much then.”

“Alright, I won’t bother you now then. Keep an eye out on your text messages in a while.”

"Okay, thanks."

After hanging up the phone, she received a text message not long after.

Nell opened it, carefully looked at the address, and realized that it was a venue that she had been to while she was still in Country F a long time ago.

She thought for a moment and sent a copy of the address to Nancy before putting her phone away. “Remember this address. We’ll probably be there for the next two days.”

Nancy pulled out her phone, glanced at the message, and asked, ”Is this a training ground?”

Nell nodded.

After all, it had been years since she had been in an actual race. Even a top-notch player would not be able to return to their former form after years of inexposure.

However, Nell only gave herself two days although it would be an impressive feat if she were able to return to her previous state in just two days.

Nancy carefully memorized the address and put away her phone after a dozen seconds. “Okay, I’ve taken note of it.”

Nell nodded. They settled the bill and then headed out.

After leaving the restaurant, Nancy questioned, “Where do we go now? Back to the hotel?”

Nell looked at the time and saw that it was only 8:00 pm. She pondered and shook her head. “Let's not go back yet. It's still early. How about we head over to the venue?”

Nancy had always wanted to see Nell drive with her own eyes, so her eyes lit up when she heard that, and she quickly nodded. “Yes!”

After agreeing, the two then took a taxi to the training ground.

Nell had been to this venue that Sam had introduced to her a few times in the past. However, that was because, during that period, most of her time was spent inside the Dragon Regiment’s training ground.

Therefore, it was less common for outsiders to come.

This time, it was a rare opportunity for Nell to return to an old haunt.

The venue was not very far away from the restaurant. It was just a twenty-minute drive away.

In the distance, there was a row of eye-catching buildings in front of them. On top of a metallic gray house stood two striking English letters: M.G.

Nell knew that it was the name of the training ground.

It seemed that they also had their own racing team, and they had won a good number of times. However, unlike other teams, they raced out of pure interest, unlike the mixed ideologies of the Dragon Regiment.

To Nell, this place was indeed the most suitable choice. After all, with her identity, no matter what group or named driving ranges she went to, it would always lead to unnecessary misunderstanding and trouble.

Only a place as absolutely neutral as M.G would allow her to join in without disturbance.

Because Sam had informed them beforehand, after Nell and Nancy entered, the people immediately moved forward to greet them the moment they saw them, “Are you Miss Jennings and Miss Murray?”

Nell nodded. Her current temperament and appearance had indeed changed compared to seven years ago. Moreover, the people here came and went, so it was normal for them to not recognize her.

“Nice to meet you. I heard that you want to rent the driving range here for two days to practice racing, don’t you?”

Nell replied, “Yes, is it convenient for me to check it out now?”

“Absolutely, come with me.”

‘Aaaah this is just too cool! How can my Nelly be so handsome and so cool!? She’s so cool that I’m going to swoon!’

Nancy was excited, but Nell, who was currently sitting in the car, was somewhat depressed.

It really had been too long since she practiced, and her skills had turned rusty.

There were several moves that had almost gone wrong just now/ It would not have mattered if it was a normal event, but if these were displayed during top professional competitions, she would definitely turn into a laughing stock.

Putting losing aside, being laughed at was…Well, that would be embarrassing.

Neither did Nell want to lose the competition, nor did she want to lose face.

Therefore, within a limited time of two days, she needed to practice harder.

Thus, on this night, she practiced until midnight.

After a full four hours of practice, when she came out of the car, Nell’s entire clothing was damp with sweat.

Nancy was very excited at first, but in the end, the more she watched, the more distressed she became.

Heaven knew that even if Nell currently had such good results and experience, she would still need to practice hard just to get started again.

Back then, when she had only been eighteen and was just starting out, she had to work hard to climb to that position.

Common folk usually only saw the glory and radiance of prodigies, but they did not see the hard work and sweat that they put in behind the scenes. There was no so-called prodigy that could succeed without hard work and practice after even if the heavens had graced them with talent.

Talents were only entrance tickets to enter a championship. It was not the ability to become a champion. Anyone fortunate enough to reach the peak used 1% of their talent plus 99% of their own sweat mixed together to achieve their goals.
