Nell gazed at Jason scornfully.

“Sincere? Back then, when I was bullied by Sylvia and Celine, you never said a thing, and now, you want to talk about sincerity? Sorry, your notion of sincerity has no value to me!”

“You…”

“Let me go! I want to go inside!”

“Nelly, listen to me…”

Nell shoved him away. She was a bit too forceful and Jason got thrown towards a railing.

He whined in pain which attracted strange looks from the people around them.

Nell was speechless.

She blushed.

‘Eh, it’s not a good sign that I had a little too much to drink. I couldn’t stop myself from controlling my temper and strength, thus I applied too much force.’

As the onlookers watched, she wondered whether she should leave or take a closer look at Jason.

Soon, people began to pass comments about the incident. Nell was a celebrity. Although it was common for celebrities to be sighted at Xianshui Pavilion, it would be bad if people spread rumors about her hitting someone in public.

She wanted to save her own face.

In the end, she approached Jason and whispered, “Hey! Stop playing dead if you’re still alive and get up at once.”

Jason placed a hand on his stomach which crashed into the railing earlier. He was in so much pain that he scrunched up his face.

He heaved himself up and clenched his teeth. “I’m… I’m ok.”

His face was pale and his forehead was covered in sweat.

Nell found it hard to believe he was fine when she saw how weak he looked.

She was rather annoyed.

Although he was a grown man, he behaved like a fragile little chick. One little knock caused him to react in this manner. Could he not argue with her properly?

She hoped that the crash did not mess him up!

Nell hesitated. “Perhaps, I can help you back to your private room! Or, shall I get an attendant?”

Jason looked up at her.

“No need, it’s just that my stomach hurts. Can you help me to the restroom?”

Nell considered it. She had just been to the restroom and it was not far, so she agreed.

When they reached the restroom, she lowered her voice, “We’re here. If you’re fine, I shall leave now.”

She was about to go when Jason grabbed her and dragged her into the men’s restroom.

Nell was caught off guard and got pulled into the room. She was shocked and furious.

“Are you f*cking crazy? Hands off me!”

She swore.

Jason laughed wickedly and pressed her against the wall of a toilet stall. He whispered, “Scream, I dare you. Let’s see how you are going to wriggle your way out of this when someone hears you!”

Nell gritted her teeth.

This was the disadvantage of being a celebrity.

Sometimes, she had to suppress her negative feelings and let things slide in order to preserve her fame and reputation.

Still, she was not the type to allow others to trample on her. Instead of screaming, she raised a hand and covered Jason’s mouth with it. Then, she lifted a foot and stepped onto Jason’s foot with her high heels.

“Oof…”

Jason grunted in pain.

He wanted to struggle, but for some reason, this woman was unbelievably strong. She twisted both of his arms backward and his whole body got slammed onto the door with his face facing the wall.

The following day, when Jason awoke at the hospital, he simply refused to reveal to Thomas the identity of his attacker.

At first, Thomas was furious and insisted on calling the police and checking the CCTVs.

Although Nell had let this matter slide, Jason held a grudge towards her from that day onwards.
