Shattered Illusions Love Lies and Redemption (Lizetta and Remington) novel Chapter 1376

Lizetta scrambled across the mattress and hugged the man from behind.

She pressed her cheek against his lean waist, rubbing affectionately against his firm muscles through the thin hospital gown, and coaxed him softly.

"Who says I don't love you? I love you so much! I really do!"

She could feel him tense up slightly at her words.

He was clearly affected, but he still kept his silence.

Seeing this, Lizetta pushed her advantage, her cheeks flushing as she added.

"I love you the most, forever and ever."

Because she was behind him, she couldn't see that the corners of his mouth had curved into an unstoppable grin.

He was flashing a brilliant, toothy smile, his chest vibrating slightly as he fought the urge to laugh out loud.

He turned his head back. "So you agree?"

Lizetta had no idea what she was agreeing to, but she knew Remington wouldn't ask anything unreasonable of her.

Plus, she was desperate to know about the little girl.

She nodded eagerly. "I agree, I agree! Now hurry up and tell me about that little girl."

Remington's lips curled upwards. "I don't know her name, but she looked to be about three or four. If you want the details, I can call the director over and ask!"

Lizetta nodded enthusiastically. But as Remington reached for his phone, she felt she couldn't wait that long.

"Never mind," she said. "You stay here with Joy. I'll go ask her myself."

With that, she sprinted out of the room like a whirlwind.
