"Go see what all that noise is about outside," Remington ordered again.
Only then did Cedric realize that the hallway was indeed quite loud.
He quickly acknowledged the order, turned, and pushed the door open.
Striding to the end of the corridor, Cedric realized it was none other than Stella West.
Stella was holding Ron in her arms, followed by a nanny carrying a pile of gifts.
They were being blocked by the bodyguards, but Stella seemed entirely unwilling to take no for an answer, looking determined to force her way in with the baby.
Cedric approached, and as soon as Stella saw him, she spoke with frantic urgency.
"Mr. Cedric, I heard Lizetta still hasn't woken up. Doesn't she adore my little Ron? I brought him here to see her. Maybe if she hears him crying, she'll wake up."
Ron had previously been staying at Oakridge Heights.
The original plan was for Lizetta and Remington to watch him for a few days, but then Lizetta's accident happened.
With Remington keeping a constant vigil at the hospital, Stella had taken Ron back to the West estate.
Fortunately, Stella had also taken along the reliable nanny Remington had hired specifically for Ron.
The nanny was excellent; Ron's little face was distinctly chubbier and much rosier than before.
As if understanding Stella's words and knowing Lizetta was inside, Ron squirmed in her arms, reaching his chubby little hands toward Cedric.
"Yah! Ah!"
Ron babbled and waved his arms, seemingly begging Cedric to take him to Lizetta.
The baby was impossibly cute, flashing a wide, toothless grin at Cedric.
