Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3286

It turned out that Isabella was going on a business trip.

Austin replied, “Okay, Ms. Isabella.”

At that moment, Dominic said, “Aren’t you taking Austin with you, Ms. Isabella?”

With her picky mouth, she would have difficulty finding food she could stomach during her trip. It would be better if she brought her private chef with her.

Isabella had rarely gone on business trips in the past.

She remained silent.

Austin continued cleaning up quietly.

He thought, ‘She’ll probably go hungry on business trips because of her picky mouth.’

After considering the suggestion and thinking about her stomach, Isabella finally said, “Okay. Austin can go back and pack his luggage and be here again at 5:00 p.m. He’ll be coming with me on my business trip.

“Don’t tell anyone, aside from my family, about Austin traveling with me, Dominic.”

Isabella did not want others to spread rumors or criticize her for taking a young private chef on her business trip.

Even if the entire Satbury knew she was picky and that the hiring process of a private chef for the O’Connors was likened to a cooking competition, there would still be people talking behind her back.

“Don’t worry, Ms. Isabella. I’ll keep my lips sealed.”

Dominic promised.

He would execute his young lady’s orders well.

“Get someone to replace Austin while he’s away with me.”

There would always be more than one chef.

Isabella was the pickiest person in the O’Connor family. If she was not home, the rest of the family could still eat the food other chefs made.

After all, every chef who worked for the O’Connors had prior experience working in a five-star hotel.

Their cooking skills were nonetheless excellent.

“Rest assured, Ms. Isabella. I’ll ensure everything is in order. Mr. Louis might be unhappy for a short while, but he’ll understand after I explain everything.”

“Since I’ll be going on the business trip with you, Mr. Louis won’t be able to eat as he wishes.”

Isabella remained quiet.

After Austin packed the cutlery, Dominic quickly wiped the table twice.

Once he confirmed that the table was clean, they left the office to let Isabella have her rest.

After they went out, Isabella sat for a few minutes before heading to the lounge.

Getting some half-hour rest was a luxury for someone in her position.

Austin had cooked in the kitchen of the company’s cafeteria because he was not worried about other chefs stealing his secret techniques. While Isabella’s previous chefs had the same idea, they never did it because of that concern.

Austin’s decision had allowed Isabella to eat comfortably and have extra time to rest.

She felt completely different in the evening.

Hiring Austin was a good move.
