Carrie squinted for a while and when she made the car out and saw it was a luxury one, she guessed that one of the York men had come home. She was immediately energized and stood in the middle of the road, planning to force the driver to stop.

Out of all the men of the Yorks, she was only afraid of Zachary.

He usually appeared with a convoy of cars, but this car was alone, so it was obviously not Zachary.

Thus, Carrie fearlessly dared to stand in the middle of the road to try and stop it.

The car halted a small distance away from Carrie.

Camryn wound down the car window and poked her head out to take a look. She could not see clearly, but she guessed that it was probably her half-sister. No one else would stand in the middle of the road to block their way.

“You’re finally back, Camryn. Get out of that car and give me money! You took my parents’ assets, kicked me out of the house, and even canceled my credit cards. Are you trying to starve me to death? At first, Carrie remained in the middle of the road, arms akimbo as she yelled, thinking that Camryn would not dare to run her down.
