Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2388

Quinn was unaware she was Julian’s destined woman, the only one he was attracted to, and nobody else.

“I just arrived, Ms. Crawford,” replied Julian with a smile.

Seeing his hands full, Quinn said, “You could’ve come without bringing anything along.”

“It’s my first time meeting my coach. It’s only appropriate to prepare some gifts. I can’t possibly come empty-handed.”

Quinn smiled. “Are you so confident my dad will accept you as his student? Let’s go. My house is nearby. You can have a meal at my house and meet my dad. We can see if he’s willing to take you in.”

“Sounds great.”

Quinn led Julian to her house.

“Didn’t you say you would be Mr. York’s groomsman? Why are you here?” she asked while she took some of the load Julian was carrying.

She had just returned from Wiltspoon two days ago.

Looking at the stuff he brought, she told him, “You bought so many expensive gifts. It must’ve cost a lot.”

The cigarettes, alcohol, and supplements Julian bought were from well-known brands.

Upon recalling that Julian was a CEO, Quinn said, “Do all CEOs usually splurge?”

“Money is meant to be spent. Since I’m meeting my coach, I should express my sincerity. I think it’s fine to buy expensive items for my coach.

“I sensed that you were eager to attend Zachary’s wedding, so I came over after thinking it through. I’m here to meet your dad and invite you as my plus one to the wedding.

“We can make it back in time if we depart tomorrow.”

That was the excuse Julian came up with while he was on the way.

Julian smiled and said, “I’m the one who’s requesting you to be my plus one. You don’t have to prepare anything. I have everything ready.

“And we’ll definitely make it in time. The wedding is only happening the day after tomorrow.

“Even if our flight is the day after tomorrow, we’ll still be in time for the wedding.”

Julian kept persuading Quinn to go to Wiltspoon with him.

He was a natural at it.

Quinn did not say yes right away but said, “We can discuss this again after meeting my dad. Let’s see if he’s willing to accept you as his student.”

“Okay.”

Visiting his future father-in-law was also important to Julian.
