Even Natalia had never expected Sir to send Micah.

She knew exactly how capable he was, and she was no match for him.

Her heart pounding, she sat frozen, her brow furrowed as she watched Micah warily.

"Sir asked me to manage Lynch Corporation. I look forward to working together," Micah said, turning to Natalia with a faint smile.

Natalia couldn't manage a smile in return. The reaction from the executives was clear—they were more than happy with their new CEO.

Her face fell. She stood up and stormed out of the conference room.

She was so angry her fingers were trembling, but there was nothing she could do.

As long as Sir was alive, she would always be under the thumb of people like this.

Impulsively, she pulled out her phone and called him. "Sir, why Micah?"

"What's wrong? A company like Lynch Corporation requires a capable leader, does it not?" he questioned in a deep voice.

"That's not..." Natalia was speechless. Micah's abilities were undeniably superior to hers.

She couldn't argue with that.

"Cooperate with Micah. Don't cause any trouble," Sir warned sternly before hanging up again.

Natalia's face paled. She leaned against the wall outside the restroom, her mind a chaotic mess.

She was beginning to regret her actions. Maybe she shouldn't have been so quick to get rid of Shaw. If he were still around, at least control of Lynch Corporation would have stayed in their hands.

Now, with Micah in the picture, she had well and truly shot herself in the foot.

"Micah is quite the formidable figure," a voice said, startling her. It was Easton.

However, because of the unseemly circumstances of his birth, and with Sean's grandfather passing away not long after, the new head of the Quinn family—Sean's father—refused to acknowledge this younger brother who was younger than his own son.

"You'll all regret this," Natalia muttered, staring in the direction of the conference room.

Her only option now was to use Alicia to eliminate Sir.

Once Sir was gone, Micah would be forced to leave Lynch Corporation. And then, the company would finally be hers to command.
