Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 411

Tyrone was just as excited as Alicia, but beneath that excitement was a thread of worry.

He desperately wanted to stay by Alicia’s side until both babies arrived safely. Yet, the more he cared about her and the twins growing inside her, the more he realized he needed to move his plans forward.

“Is carrying twins really hard on the mother’s body?” Tyrone asked the doctor, concern written all over his face.

He cared far more about Alicia’s well-being than anything else.

“There are some risks with twins,” the doctor replied in a reassuring tone, “but your wife is young and healthy, so the chances of complications are quite low. Try not to worry—these days, twin pregnancies are actually pretty common.”

Alicia nodded, her eyes shining with emotion. She was on the verge of tears.

Two babies. It felt like the universe was making up for the loss of her last child.

Perhaps, she thought, her previous baby hadn’t wanted to leave after all—maybe that little soul had returned, bringing a sibling along this time.

“Tyrone, I can’t wait for the day when both our babies are born healthy,” Alicia said as they left the hospital, her voice thick with emotion.

Tyrone wrapped his arms around her. “They will be. You and the babies will be just fine.”

They headed out of the hospital together and were just about to get into the car when a man in a baseball cap suddenly lunged at Tyrone, a knife flashing in his hand.

Alicia caught sight of the knife just in time and, panicked, yanked Tyrone back and kicked hard at the attacker.

Thank God she’d taken self-defense classes with Winnie—otherwise, she would have had no idea what to do in a moment like this.

Her kick sent the knife flying, and in an instant, their driver and Tyrone tackled the man, pinning him to the ground.

Tyrone glanced up at the security camera, his face dark. “Take him away. Find out who sent him.”

Alicia was still shaken long after they got home; her heart was pounding in her chest.

Their enemies were becoming bolder, and a sense of unease crept over Alicia.

Stephen frowned, about to speak, when the conference room door was suddenly kicked open. Tyrone strode in with his assistant, dragging the would-be assassin behind them.

The attacker’s face was battered and bruised. He was thrown to the floor, glancing nervously at Mayfield, whose own face had gone pale.

Vincent narrowed his eyes. It was obvious—this had Mayfield’s fingerprints all over it. The idiot had sent another pawn straight to the slaughterhouse.

Honestly, Vincent thought, sometimes it felt like his side only got ahead thanks to teammates like Mayfield, always tripping over themselves.

He smirked, leaning back in his chair to watch the show unfold.

Stephen’s face changed instantly as he scrambled to his feet. “Tyrone, what’s going on—?”

Tyrone’s voice was low and icy as he fixed his gaze on Mayfield. “Why don’t you ask your brilliant son?”

The man on the floor wasted no time, pointing straight at Mayfield. “It was him—he ordered me to kill Tyrone!”
