Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 373

The press erupted in chaos.

Nicole’s face went deathly pale as she stared at Jade in panic.

Jade was shaken too, her eyes darting anxiously to Brandon.

“Dad…” Brandon’s voice trembled. He was just as frightened.

“Don’t call me your father!” The old man’s glare was pure fury as he stared down Brandon. “With all these reporters here, this is the perfect time to make it official. As of this moment, you and Jade are cut off from the White family. Everything the White family owns has nothing to do with either of you. From now on, I sever all ties with you both!”

Brandon nearly lost his footing, stunned as he stared at his father.

How did he find out?

“Mr. Brandon, you’re under investigation for conspiracy to commit murder. Please come with us.” The police arrived, accompanied by the family’s butler, who nervously pointed at Brandon.

Brandon shot the butler a look of pure rage, then turned pleadingly to his father. “You really think this will stop me? He has no proof!”

“Dad… Dad?” Jade’s voice cracked with fear.

Brandon managed to keep his composure, as if he still had an ace up his sleeve. “Don’t panic. Go find the gentleman…”

Jade took a deep, steadying breath. Whoever Brandon meant by “the gentleman” clearly gave her some comfort.

So, there really was a powerful figure behind Brandon and Jade.

Not far away, Tyrone narrowed his eyes. Looks like the fish are about to take the bait. “Keep an eye on Jade. See who she contacts in the next few days.”

His voice was low and commanding as he sent his assistant to follow her.

The assistant nodded and slipped into the crowd.

Clayton turned to Nicole, a cold smirk on his lips. “Here’s an itemized statement of everything you spent while impersonating Miss Nicole—over thirteen million dollars in total. That’s the sum you’re being charged with for fraud.”

Clayton’s tone was as calm as ever, but his words were ice-cold and merciless.

Over thirteen million in fraud…

But it was hopeless.

Clayton didn’t even bother to look her way.

Alicia watched the scene unfold, jaw nearly on the floor. She leaned over to Tyrone and whispered, “Did Clayton do all this on purpose…?”

“Mmm. He’s a real snake, darling. You’d better stay far away from him.” Tyrone could barely keep a straight face, seizing the chance to throw a jab at Clayton.

Across the hall, Clayton wrinkled his nose. Was the air conditioning in this place too cold, or what?

“Alicia… Was it you? Did you know all along and just watch me make a fool of myself?” The impostor had lost all grip on reality, screaming at Alicia through her tears.

Alicia just shrugged. “You reap what you sow. Take care of yourself.”

“Alicia, don’t think you can get away with this for long! Your fate won’t be any better than mine! They’re never going to let you go—Jade and Brandon’s backer is someone you can’t afford to cross!”

Alicia straightened, meeting the impostor’s gaze with a cold, mocking smile. “You won’t be around to see how I end up. But as for your fate—I can see it clearly, right here and now.”
