Anastasia coolly withdrew her gaze.
Why did Mary hate her so much? It had to be because of Alice.
How ridiculous. Harrison was the one who had dealt with Alice, and yet, with him standing right beside her, Mary didn't dare to even glance his way, let alone show any resentment.
Instead, she—the actual victim in all this—had become the target of Mary's hatred simply because she was weaker than Harrison.
Curling her lip in distaste, Anastasia took Harrison's arm and left the Lawson estate.
When they arrived home, they were surprised to see someone at the gate whom they hadn't seen in a long time—Susan Young.
Susan looked even more disheveled than the last time they'd seen her, her eyes were bloodshot, and she was pleading with a servant, who remained unmoved and was coldly trying to send her away.
Anastasia walked over. "What's going on?"
Just as the servant was about to answer, Susan suddenly rushed forward, not toward Anastasia, but toward Harrison behind her.
"Mr. Harrison Lancaster! Please, tell me who the Health Virtuoso who cured you is... I really, really need to find them!"
The Health Virtuoso?
Anastasia's expression immediately became complicated.
Harrison's expression was indifferent. "Why are you looking for them?"
Susan lowered her head, her eyes red. "Lennon... Lennon is sick. I've taken him to other doctors, but they all say there's nothing they can do... But the Health Virtuoso, if she could cure your illness, Mr. Harrison Lancaster, then she can definitely cure Lennon's!"
As she spoke, a glimmer of hope lit up her eyes.
Anastasia understood.
So, Lennon Lancaster was sick. No wonder Susan was finally willing to lower her head in front of her hubby.
