"Anastasia?!" she exclaimed, her face a mask of shock. "What are you doing here?!"

Anastasia smiled. "Why can't I be here?"

"Of course you can't be here! This is the Lancaster Group!" Monica continued to gawk.

Anastasia chuckled. "And what about the Lancaster Group? Is it yours?"

Monica looked down her nose at her. "It isn't now, but that might change in the future!"

Anastasia's mouth twitched, speechless.

How could someone be this clueless? She thought after the incident at the bar, Monica would have realized her boyfriend was a total fraud.
