Revenge is My Love Language novel Chapter 370

Harrison: "…"

Anastasia: "…"

Logan, off to the side: "…"

For a moment, the air was heavy with silence. Then, suddenly, Anastasia whipped her head around—and there was Marcus, sitting in his wheelchair, who no one had noticed arriving.

She forced down the urge to glare at him, pasting on a sweet, almost angelic smile. "You were so far away. What could you possibly have seen?"

Marcus blinked innocently. "Far away? Not really! Besides, my eyesight's just fine. Harrison's face looked spotless to me…"

Anastasia: "…"

Mr. Jackson, always competitive, looked like he wanted to add something more. But just then, Harrison glanced over at him—a chill in his eyes that had nothing to do with praise.

Marcus’s words died in his throat.

"Alright, Ana, could you finish helping me clean up?" Harrison turned his gaze back, his face as composed as ever.

Anastasia: "…"

Meeting his amused eyes, she suddenly realized—he’d seen right through her little act from the start.

"…Oh. Sure."

Trying to swallow her embarrassment, she rose on tiptoe and pressed a quick kiss to the corner of his mouth.

"There! All clean now," she declared, cheeks flushed but feigning nonchalance.

Harrison’s lips curled into a small smile. "Thank you, Ana."

Marcus: "…"

It hit him a moment too late—he’d just made a fool of himself.

As the realization dawned, Anastasia shot him a murderous glare.

Wasn’t Mr. Jackson supposed to be a notorious flirt, a heartbreaker with women all over the place? How did he manage to be so oblivious just now?

Marcus coughed, looking away awkwardly. Well, he’d only just woken up—his brain was still a bit foggy, right?

He changed the subject. "So, Harrison, you two are having fun out here and didn’t think to invite me?"

A problem?

Marcus turned and stared at Logan in disbelief.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the patch in the top left corner was a cluster of medicinal herbs so rare that even the top researchers in the field could only dream of getting their hands on them!

Supposedly, they were nearly impossible to cultivate. The largest medicinal herb farm in Veridia had managed to grow fewer than three. At an auction last year, a single plant had sold for millions.

And here, he was looking at an entire bed of them?

And Anastasia had just tossed them in as an afterthought?

Marcus was at a loss for words. He glanced toward where Anastasia and Harrison had disappeared.

Did Harrison have any idea just how incredible Anastasia was?

He looked back at the mysterious patch of herbs, pulled out his phone, and snapped a picture.

He only recognized the cluster in the corner because a renowned doctor—one of the few who’d ever examined his legs—had once told him that if he could ever get his hands on that particular herb, there might be hope for his condition. Marcus had studied it carefully back then, which was why it caught his eye now.

If just that one little patch was so extraordinary, then what about all the other things Anastasia had planted…
