Revenge is My Love Language novel Chapter 302

This place was always packed—usually you had to book a table ten days, even two weeks in advance, and dinner here cost a small fortune. But to Anastasia’s surprise, the restaurant was completely empty when they walked in.

She turned to Harrison, eyes wide with curiosity. “Babe, where is everyone?”

“I had Logan reserve the whole place,” Harrison replied, as if it was nothing.

“Oh!” Anastasia grinned. That was just like her husband—unfazed and extravagant.

The restaurant manager greeted them with utmost respect and led them up to the top floor, the most exclusive part of the building.

Anastasia only needed a single glance to be utterly stunned.

Above them, a galaxy of stars seemed to flow across the ceiling, bathing the entire rooftop in shimmering light.

But it was already autumn, and they were right in the middle of the city. How could there possibly be so many stars?

She looked at Harrison in astonishment.

He was watching her, his dark eyes deep and gentle, filled with an emotion so tender it made her heart flutter.

“Do you like it?” he asked softly.

“I love it!” Her eyes sparkled, reflecting the glittering stars above them. “Did you… did you do all this?”

The manager, eager to please, quickly chimed in, “The restaurant was recently renovated—every detail was designed by Mr. Harrison Lancaster himself!”

Originally, it was just a glass-domed rooftop restaurant—beautiful enough by anyone’s standards. But Harrison hadn’t been satisfied. He wanted his young wife to see a sky full of stars, even in the heart of autumn.

The manager had suggested a projection system—simple and convenient—but Harrison had rejected the idea outright.

Instead, Harrison had poured an incredible sum into gutting and renovating the entire rooftop in record time, replacing all the glass with high-definition screens. The result was far beyond anything a mere projector could have achieved.

Anastasia listened, her beautiful eyes growing wider and wider. She stared at Harrison in disbelief, delight written all over her face. “When did you even start planning all this?”

Renovating a whole restaurant took time—and she was with Harrison every day. How had she not noticed a thing?

He led her into the elevator, ready to head downstairs.

Meanwhile, at the entrance, Shirley arrived with Penelope and their entourage, only to be stopped by the manager.

“Do you know who I am? I demand to have dinner at the rooftop restaurant tonight!” Shirley snapped.

“I’m sorry, ma’am, but the top floor is currently reserved…”

“Then have them leave!” Shirley cut him off, impatient and entitled. “Give them five minutes to clear out. I want that table!”

Shirley was in a foul mood. She didn’t even care about eating at a romantic restaurant—she’d only come because she’d heard this was the most exclusive spot in all of Fairhaven.

The manager’s insistence that the rooftop was already booked didn’t faze her. Whoever it was, she didn’t care—they’d have to make way for her.

After all, in a little town like Fairhaven, who could possibly outrank her?
