Revenge is My Love Language novel Chapter 105

A chill settled over Anastasia’s striking features, her expression frosting over.

“So, you’re saying this place is yours now?”

“That’s right! Just look at whose name is on the deed!” Julian, never one to miss a chance to show off, had brought the property documents with him. He waved them in front of her, pride gleaming in his eyes.

Anastasia glanced at the papers, her face immediately darkening.

The deed bore Julian’s name.

Impossible.

She remembered vividly—she might have been young when her mother bought this house, but she’d never heard a word about gifting it to the Sinclairs. Her mother had only ever said they were in a tough spot, and she was letting them stay here for a while. That was it.

A sudden thought struck her, and her gaze snapped to Nora.

Back then, when her mother was buying the house, something urgent had come up, so she’d handed over the paperwork for Nora to handle. That meant, out of everyone here, Nora would know exactly why Julian’s name was on the deed.

“Mrs. Sinclair, care to explain?” Anastasia’s voice was icy as she flung the deed onto the table in front of Nora.

Nora’s heart skipped a beat. Internally, she cursed her idiot brother—couldn’t he have kept the deed hidden and waited for a safer chance to bring it out? Did he want everyone to know she’d meddled with the paperwork all those years ago?

Gabriel’s tone was glacial. “Well? I’d like to hear it too. How did the house Cecilia bought end up in your brother’s name?”

If anything, her mind flashed to the strange circumstances of her mother’s death. Nora had always been a snake, but she’d worn the perfect mask around her mother. Would she have dared to switch the name on the deed without fear? Apparently, she had. And shortly after, her mother died in that mysterious accident. Was that really just coincidence?

She remembered, too, how quickly Nora had moved in after her mother passed, how she’d wasted no time in tying herself to Gabriel. A terrible suspicion took root in Anastasia’s heart—one so fierce it made her blood run cold.

Was her mother’s death really an accident? Or had Nora played a part?

A dark, murderous glint flickered in Anastasia’s eyes as she quietly clenched her fists.

She was living this life a second time. This time, she would get to the bottom of everything. And if she discovered that Nora was behind her mother’s death, she would make sure Nora paid—no mercy, no escape.
