"What? Faylin?" Sebastian exclaimed in shock.
He was anything but unfamiliar with that name. After all, the first woman he met in the Perpetual World was Faylin, and she was also the only woman he had shared such an intimate relationship with in that world.
Even the storage space ring he carried was a gift from her.
Seeing Sebastian's strong reaction, Stephanie and Shannon looked at him curiously and asked, "Do you know Faylin?"
Sebastian replied, "I do know a woman named Faylin Lynwood, but I'm not sure if she's the same person."
"It's probably just a coincidence," Shannon suggested. "Faylin isn't just extraordinarily beautiful. She's also a prodigious talent. She reached the Divine Grandmaster level at 15 and advanced to pinnacle Divine Grandmaster by 17.
"Now, she's not even 18 yet, but it's said that she's recently stepped into the Demigod Realm. Her talent even surpasses Mr. Gaudium's."
Stephanie nodded in agreement. "That's right. Faylin's talent is nothing short of monstrous, and her beauty is renowned.
"Mr. Gaudium was supposed to start training at the Gaudium Sacred Ground three years ago, but that's when he met Faylin. He fell for her at first sight and, without hesitation, gave up the chance to train in the Sacred Ground."
"I still don't get it. How does this relate to his training in the Sacred Ground?" Sebastian asked, feeling puzzled.
"It's definitely related," Shannon explained. "Swordity is very close to our South Mount and is also part of the southern region, but Gaudium Sacred Ground is in the northern region.
"It's tens of thousands of miles away. It would be incredibly difficult to meet her from such a distance."
Sebastian nodded in realization, understanding that tens of thousands of miles was a vast distance. Even with a mystic crane, a round trip would take at least a month.
"So, after three years, did he manage to win her over?" Sebastian asked curiously.
Stephanie shook her head. "Faylin rarely leaves Swordity, making it hard for Mr. Gaudium to even see her, let alone pursue her.
"However, he remains undeterred, believing that Faylin is simply too young and that's why she hasn't accepted his advances yet."
Sebastian couldn't help but admire him a bit. He surely didn't expect Juniper to be such a hopeless romantic.
