"Yes, of course I'd like to. But I can't get out." Chaya shook her head.
"How would you know without trying? Come with me," Sebastian said and headed toward the exit.
He knew about Chaya because Lazarus had told him about her. Not only was she loyal, but she was strong. After testing her out earlier, Sebastian had confirmed that Chaya was incredibly strong.
She had been trapped in this forbidden grounds for thousands of years. This area had a strong restraining which prevented the Demonic Tribe from absorbing any divine spiritual energy.
Despite that, Chaya was able to fight as a pinnacle demigod. Once she recovered to her prime, Sebastian wondered just how strong she would be.
If he took her out, he would have another strong and loyal bodyguard. Although he wouldn't do as he pleased, there wouldn't be many who would dare to provoke him.
Chaya clearly didn't think that Sebastian had the ability to take her out, but he was Lazarus' student, which made him her master. So, she hurriedly went after him.
They walked for a long time before reaching the edge of the forbidden grounds. The trace of the barrier was clear here—it was barren within the barrier but full of greenery and life on the other side.
Tentatively, Sebastian gave it a try. When he walked through the barrier, he felt a little resistance. But using a little spiritual energy, he could simply walk out.
However, it didn't work on Chaya because the minute her body touched the barrier, it would corrode her flesh and cause her agonizing pain.
Sebastian passed through the barrier again and retrieved his Harmony Blade. Using the same technique when he left the underground cave, he condensed a few formation drawings on the barrier and immediately cut it with Harmony Blade.
There was a loud boom, and a ridge opened up in the barrier. Chaya's mouth was hanging open in shock. Never did she imagine that Sebastian had this ability. It was unbelievable.
"Don't be in a daze, and hurry on out," Sebastian said and shoved her out.
Almost at the same time she stepped out, the barrier started to repair itself. Everything happened in less than a millisecond.
