Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 673

Sebastian said, "Don't worry about how I know that. I'm quite interested in that hidden technique of yours. Could you lend it to me?"

Korbin was shocked. That was the Netherworld Sect's most treasured technique, so they would never allow an outsider to have it.

However, Sebastian was too powerful. If they refused and Sebastian decided to take it by force, what could they possibly do to stop him?

As Korbin hesitated, stuck between two terrible choices, Kaitlyn stepped forward and said, "Sebastian, I admit that your strength is formidable, but that technique is our sect's most closely guarded secret. We can't allow it to fall into anyone else's hands. If you try to take it by force, we'll have to fight you to the death."

Sebastian smirked with disdain. "Your sect only has five divine grandmasters. Even your strongest leader is only at the middle-stage divine grandmaster. If I wanted to, who could possibly stop me? Don't talk to me about a fight to the death."

Korbin was so shocked that his cold sweat dripped from his forehead.

However, Kaitlyn wasn't afraid of him. "Then, we'll fight with everything we have. Even if we lose, we're willing to die alongside our sect!"

"Kaitlyn, don't speak recklessly!"

Korbin was shocked. He feared that Kaitlyn might provoke Sebastian further. If Sebastian became angry, their lives would be at risk.

He quickly pulled Kaitlyn aside. He then turned to Sebastian with a forced smile and said, "Mr. Wilder, my daughter spoke out of turn. Please don't take offense. However, that technique is really important to our sect, so I humbly ask that you show mercy. If there are any other conditions, we'll do our best to satisfy you."

Sebastian slightly frowned. The only thing in the entire Netherworld Sect that caught his interest was the advanced stage three technique.

"Mr. Gardner, all I want is to borrow your technique for a short time. I'll even offer compensation. Would that be acceptable?" Sebastian asked.

"Mr. Wilder, this is a grave matter. I can't make such a decision alone. I must consult with the other elders of the sect. I hope you understand," Korbin said.

Sebastian nodded. "Alright then. You can discuss it amongst yourselves. I'll visit in three days. Hopefully, you'll have good news for me."

With that, Sebastian left.

Korbin was so anxious that he broke out in a cold sweat. Sebastian would come to their sect in three days… What were they going to do?

"Wait a moment."

Kaitlyn chased after Sebastian.

"Ms. Gardner, what is it?" Sebastian asked.

"I want to talk to you privately," Kaitlyn said.

"Don't flatter yourself. Plenty of men want to marry me. You don't even make the list, you old geezer."

"Did you just call me old geezer?" Sebastian asked, pointing at his nose.

"Isn't it true? With your level of cultivation, talent alone wouldn't be enough. You must've trained for decades to reach this stage. You're probably older than my father, maybe even older than my grandfather. Am I wrong to call you an old geezer?"

"You're quite bold. Do you know the consequences of provoking me?" Sebastian asked with a mischievous smile.

Kaitlyn sneered. "What? Are you going to kill me?"

"You're too beautiful for that. Come here and let me use you instead."

Sebastian grinned as he reached out, pushing her onto the couch.

"No! You bastard, let me go!"

Kaitlyn was both angry and terrified. She kept scolding him as she struggled, but her resistance was futile.
