Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1134

"Hold it! Who dares to lay a finger on him?"

An icy voice rang out as a woman in a flowing green dress strode into the room. She walked with unmatched grace, and her beauty captivated everyone at first glance. She was dazzlingly beautiful.

Even beauties like Deimante and Lila felt the pinch of envy at the sight of her.

"Greetings Princess Delaney!"

Every head bowed in respect except for Sebastian and Leila's.

The one who strode in was Delaney. She stormed toward Sebastian and glared sharply at Romulus. "How dare you show such disrespect to Mr. Wilder? You've got some nerve!"

Romulus was startled and said urgently, "Princess Delaney, please forgive me. If I'd known you were acquainted with Mr. Wilder, I wouldn't have dared, not even if I'd had twice the nerve."

Everyone in the room was stunned. Nobody had anticipated Delaney would step up to defend Sebastian. Until this moment, they hadn't realized the two were acquainted.

She ignored Romulus and turned to Sebastian with a smile. It was as radiant as a field of blooming flowers that left everyone around her spellbound.

When Delaney smiled, she radiated a beauty that clarified why she was revered as one of the four beauties of Wonderton. Compared to her, the other women seemed to fade into the background.

The crowd gasped, not only at her beauty but also at the rarity of her smile. Delaney was known as the "Ice Princess" for her cold demeanor. Many had seen her, but few had experienced the warmth of her smile directed at a man.

Gaius felt his jealousy spike upon seeing that. He immediately stepped forward and said, "Princess Delaney, he's just a loser. Why are you defending him?"

Delaney raised her hand and slapped Gaius. "How dare you call Mr. Wilder a loser? Who gave you the nerve?"

"This." Leila raised the golden invitation card and waved it in front of Delaney with a smug grin. "As of now, this is the only one of its kind in the room. Do you think I'm worthy now?"

Delaney looked surprised and turned to Sebastian. She was the only one in the room who knew his true identity, though she was unaware of his relationship with Leila. Besides the Swordity members and a few outsiders, nobody knew about his engagement to Leila.

Sebastian explained, "Leila and I were once engaged."

Delaney finally understood everything.

Leila scoffed. "Sebastian, you were once my fiancé, but that's all in the past. Don't think for a second you can share in my glory."

"Does he need to share your glory?" Delaney couldn't help but laugh at that.
