Now that Sebastian had reached the Steel Body State in the Law of Force, his body was sturdier than even a supreme artifact. Unless faced with a Lesser Deity Master, no one could break his defense.
"Go to hell!" Infuriated by Sebastian's disdain, Aime unleashed his spiritual energy and aimed a powerful punch straight at Sebastian's chest.
With a dull, heavy sound, a wave of sharp pain shot through Aime's wrist, prompting a shrill scream. His face contorted with agony and terror. His eyes were wide and mouth grew agape as if he could swallow an egg.
"My hand! How is this possible?" Aime cried out in horror as his voice was laced with despair and disbelief.
He stared at his twisted, deformed wrist, unable to comprehend what had just happened. His body trembled uncontrollably with sweat beading on his forehead, and his face grew as pale as a sheet of paper.
Gone was Aime's previous arrogance and confidence; all that remained was deep fear and helplessness.
"How can your defense be this strong? What are you—man or monster?" he stammered as his face was etched with horror.
If Sebastian had used spiritual energy to block the blow, it would have simply meant his cultivation was higher. But Sebastian hadn't shown any hint of spiritual energy; he had simply endured it with sheer physical strength.
His body's resilience was unfathomable. Then, Sebastian responded with a cold smirk and slapped Aime across the face.
The sharp sound of the slap echoed loudly through the silent forest as Aime was sent flying back over 30 feet, crashing hard against a large tree.
Dazed from the impact, Aime looked up at Sebastian with eyes blazing with rage. "You actually dared to strike my face!"
