Sebastian found a spot to sit. He pulled out a flask and drank as he watched the scene unfold.

Though the assassins were strong, they were no match for Chaya. Within the span of a few blinks, they collapsed to the ground.

"Demons! You're with the demons!" Rufus shouted as his eyes widened with fear. As a Lesser Deity Master, he could instantly tell the difference between demonic power and spiritual energy.

Sebastian smiled faintly. "It's just a special skill she picked up, and there's nothing demonic about it."

The assassins didn't believe him, so he extended his hand, and a wave of passive energy surged from his palm. It was almost indistinguishable from demonic power. He could easily replicate them since passive energy and demonic power were nearly similar.

Rufus and the others had no idea what Sebastian was up to. But the demonic power in Sebastian's palm faded and was replaced by a surge of active energy.

Their eyes widened in shock. They couldn't comprehend how one person could harness two opposing energies. It just didn't seem possible.

Rufus stared at Sebastian and asked, "Who the hell are you? What do you want?"

"You tried to assassinate me, yet you don't know who I am?" Sebastian asked with a mocking smile.

Rufus gritted his teeth. "Our client told us that you were just a commoner."

"That's right. I am a commoner," Sebastian said.

"I mean an ordinary person," Rufus clarified.

Sebastian said sarcastically, "You call yourselves assassins? That's laughable. No professionalism at all."

Rufus and the others bristled with anger. "You can criticize our strength, but don't you dare question our professionalism!"
