Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 1030

"Ms. Sidorov, what brings you here?" Trevor hurried over to greet Deimante with a warm smile. His tone was respectful.

The Berry family once had assets worth billions, but that was hardly a fraction of what Bejeweled Tower had. Even if they sold off everything now, their total assets wouldn't exceed 100 million spiritual stones.

"Hello, Ms. Sidorov." Fiona and Lila rushed forward to greet her with flattering smiles.

Deimante smiled faintly and said, "I'm here to bring you some good news."

"What kind of good news do you have for us, Ms. Sidorov?" Trevor asked eagerly.

She exchanged a glance with Hazel, who promptly handed him a contract. "This is a contract of 300 million spiritual stones from us."

Trevor could hardly believe what he had heard. He never imagined that Deimante would come to them with a collaboration contract. It felt like a windfall had dropped right into his lap.

"Thank you so much, Ms. Sidorov. I don't know how to express my gratitude. How… How about I treat you to a meal?" He was so excited he stumbled over his words.

She smiled. "Mr. Berry, I have another matter to discuss as well."

"Feel free to say whatever is on your mind," he replied.

"I was training at Skyla Academy, and one of my classmates likes Ms. Lila. He asked me to come here and propose marriage to her on his behalf. What do you think of this, Mr. Berry?" Deimante asked with a smile.

"Ah… this…" Trevor hesitated. "Ms. Sidorov, we don't even know who he is. Doesn't that seem inappropriate?"

She smiled and said, "My classmate is exceptional in every way, both in looks and skill, so you can rest easy on that front. If you agree, I'll offer an additional five million spiritual stones as a wedding gift, along with the contract."

Sebastian had never done anything for her. Instead, she had helped him out several times. She said this to hide her intentions while trying to win his favor by proposing to Lila on his behalf.

"What about his background?" Trevor asked the question he was most concerned about.

"His background is quite ordinary, and he's just a commoner," Deimante replied.

Trevor and Fiona were disappointed upon hearing that. They had hoped their daughter's suitor would be the heir to a prominent family, but instead, he turned out to be just a commoner.

"So, what do you think?" Deimante asked.

Lila said, "Ms. Sidorov, I don't even know who he is. Perhaps you could arrange for us to meet first?"
